Hi guys, I am using a sennheiser amperior and I am using my iphone 5 as the source . Music would be in alac (flac) format and I listen to EDM . Any portable amp to recommend? Thank you.

on rock/metal, i'm using govibe martini+, it bring out the mids on my TF10, tighten bass..

btw, i'm using iPod 5g, problem with the new idevice is the new lightning port, cannot bypas the internal amp.. so basically i'm double amp (default eq and full volume on iPod, then control volume on the govibe). are you will be double amping as well? i'm not sure if this is bad. any comment from other? (due to this, i'm considering to change my source)

So I thought of getting a dac + amp like the e17 or ibasso boa and connect it to my MacBook. Is that I good move or any recommendations?

Cool.. Thanks for the info bro.. Will look out for that.. Anyhow just bought a 6th gen ipod nano just now, coz it still using the 30 pin, so looking for LOD later on.. Having 2 ipod now, see which one more convenience to use with portable amp.

You can try a few, but I am not sure which range you are looking at.
Try something starting from GoVibe mini box mk2, Martini+, iBasso series, Vest+. But if you are using iphone 5 you have to find another solution...
