Open an account that serves your purpose. As you go along, you can always close and open another which you find it better than your previous account.

Banking is always evolving, so bank will always intro new products. What is best now may not be good in the future.

I am currently using Maybank imteen savings account where i signed up when i was 16yr old. Currently i am 19 and want to terminate my Maybank imteen savings account and start a new savings account for the long term. I did my research esp on Maybank one, but i am still confuse why there are so many savings acc offered by Maybank and each of them seems like the same(Maybank2u, maybank2u savers i, kawanku, basics)?

If there are any savings account other than Maybank...i hope u can recommend me too. Thank you!

Choose a bank with branches near you and convenient. Don't worry too much about rates as most banks are quite similar, it is for the convenience of performing your banking needs.

Looking to grow my savings. Has anyone used Hong Leong's Pay&Save account? Leaning towards opening an account there. The interest rate looks ok compared to other banks. Now got promo also. Maybe i can get a new phone also while im at it.

if you really want to grow your savings (per title),...may I suggest that you go for a product that does not "force" you to commit to spending RM500 online and RM500 debit card usage PER MONTH.

each RM100 saved by reducing your monthly spending will do more wonder than this product.

e-KYC for banks to come soon

In a nutshell, e-KYC is the online process of verifying the identity of customers and assessing the risks or possible illegal intentions during each transaction — whether it be opening or logging onto an account, applying for a loan or making a payment. With e-KYC, consumers no longer have to go to a bank branch to open a savings or current account.
