if it is true, does it imply better to get Stealth rather than Mercury?

Just bought one yesterday after reading the review from this thread. Bought it at Plaza Alam Sentral (PAS) for RM735 with 16GB SD card.. Got the ugly looking pouch. Manage to charge the batery up to 100%, then my son drained the batery after playing game from 9PM to 3AM++.

Added on December 7, 2012, 10:20 amguys.. what the signal means eg H and G ?

did u also survey other shop in pas? so rm735 is the cheapest in pas?

If with 16GB + pouch, then the price of the phone should be around RM670.

The Hero H9500/ Zopo Zp900 is a magnificent phone. Only a few problems.

1. Speaker is not loud enough.
2 . GPS is not really good.
3 Camera's flash results in washed out pictures.
4. Warranty is hard to claim.
5. Screen cracks and scratches easily.
6. Dual sim is kind of buggy.

But other than that, it's an awesome buy. Against the Mercury, it is about the same situation as Ninetology Stealth 2 vs Mercury. Mercury smacks it in all the benchmarks, but Hero has better camera and and better multitasking. Interestingly, the Mercury has better battery life than the Hero, although Hero's battery is larger.

Thx. Also, I forgot to mention one more thing. Since the one you're getting is the Hero, and not the Zopo, the updates and bug fixes of the Zopo phones are not available. The main difference between Hero and Zopo is that Zopo have a huge english speaking community, and are very attentive to their buyers needs. Hero don't do that. The main differences between the Zopo Zp900 and Hero H9500 are:

1. The Hero's screen is hard to view in the sunlight, while Zopo have fixed this.
2. The Play Store on most Hero phones have a bug, while Zopo has managed to fix this.
3. Zopo accept warranty after you root your phone, and they even give steps to root your phone on their website. Hero does not.
4. Hero phones usually have poorer durability, despite being mostly the same as Zopo phones.
5. Zopo has a huge english speaking community, while Hero does not. So if you encounter any problems, it will be hard to fix them with Hero phones.

So if you want to get the phone, make sure it is from Zopo, even if you need to pay a little extra. But if you don't mind, then go ahead. About the look, I always felt that it looked like a smaller Galaxy Note 2.

Also, I want to congratulate Zopo on releasing their Zopo Zp950 Phablet Max. A 5.7 inch screen with HD resolution is awesome.

I know. CSL's Facebook page hasn't been moving too. I wonder what is going on? Maybe they're planning about quad core model or something like that?

dont think quad core model in such a short period. unless they want to stop the production line for mercury and develop for the quad core. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

else it dont make sense on the slow supply. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

seeing like trend is moving toward ninetology now. drool.gif drool.gif
