Proton should use Persona PW design instead as the design complete different with saga PW and no complain from my bro-in-law (driving Persona)...
i guess 1 way ticket on Preve by Proton..

i agreed wasn't the PW components issues, instead it is the door design and PW design issues...

It can be rectify easily if only motor failure or weak bracket or cheap cable which can go for aftermarket parts, but not for design as the mould is there already and it will cost a bomb for another new mould... even though allowed with new mould to new frame again, it may lead other issues such as redesign door panel, relocation door knob, door reliability, etc... guess proton only can minimize it by modify and strengthen the existing door frame...

also the reasons Proton can offer 10 years is the PW is almost fully metal structure, doesnt have plastic stuffs (bracket, roller, holder, etc) around as plastic stuffs easily to get crackes after years... the most is the motor failure due to the wear and tear...

Just simply put your arm on the hand rest (door panel) and roll up...
should be PW design problem as avanza have the same design too...

anyway, just my personal preferences as i dont have issues with my myvi's PW as used different design in between...
i hoping is "upgrade" on my coming new car...

anyway, no offenses here...

Bulging Outwards is PW and door frame design problem... afraid it can't be solve, only minimize...

glukX3 sound should be the coil spring issues... can be solve for short term but readjust and greasing...

hopefully preve will facelift version which come with leather seat next year...

bro... i tell u... dont spend SO much of money for your first car...
dont forget you may have family and house in the future...
i strongly suggest u keep so money in your pocket to get non-liabilities stuff instead...

i forced to get myvi 6 years ago bcos no launched new saga yet as maintenance issues on my family car as i travel often for work...
otherwise i will go for new saga instead as cheaper price compare to myvi...

luckily, i still manage to get a DSL house and my salary enough for family + 1 baby...
problem is i still that poor even thought my salary have triple jump from 1st salary...

Now i forced to get bigger car due to family commitment... otherwise i still stick with my current car instead...

but wondering what so difficult for P1 to release a upgrade package since Forte also have leather seat and airbag inside the seat too...
i think nothing about technical issues that may cause the air bag failed to deploy...

but may go for other car instead if still no leather seat (even after market) as worry my children pour beverage on car seat and caused the stain...

maybe they are no supplying the problematic seat and asked vendor to supply another quality seat...
but of cos it may take some time to negotiate in between as the cost of quality seat may increase but P1 no willing to bear the additional cost...

underpower? i tried almera and floor the pedal, my wife felt she "glue" on the car seat...

thought the sudden pickup from 0km/h to 60km/h feeling like the airplane taking off from land?
tried on toyota mark X, same feeling maybe no floor pedal yet...

i interested on Preve also, hope they will do revision along with new hatchback by offering leather seat and minor tuning on PW...

glad to heard it solveable... anyway, i dont mind those funny squeezy sound which may unavoidable in future too, still may go for Preve later...
such as my boss driving BMW 535 GT, have squeezy sound too from seat bcos the leather seat & interior cover friction each others while car moving...


lets wait for 2013 hatch back version, hopefully they have leather seat packages that time...

almera = point A to B = faamily usage
preve = speedy + safety = driving enjoyment

i guess replace oil filter every 5000km are more recommended...

though can use manual shifting to limited to gear 1-2 only while downhill and engine will pull the car back?

i can wait till end of 2013 and see that time how...


tried to depress some petrol pedal while downhill? will it suddenly shoot from 2k to 3k rpm?
i guess it may just a "free play" only but the CVT doesn't engaged to wheel directly...
happened to my colleague 10 years old CRV, no engine brake at all from genting downhill...

how about u tried to high speed at D mode, dont shift to manual and press the + paddle shift instead... will the rpm get higher?
if yes, then means have another virtual gear which is higher ratio than 7th gear...

technically is NOT... once signed, means the payment should transferred to Proton for purchase...

unless u means JUST signed then u still can cancel by calling banker stop to proceed the agreement before payment transfer...
