Then again, if the windows for the 2nd batch aren't misbehaving, why would anyone require to have that looked into? As for me, I'm not comfortable with the unnecessary stripping of my doors' trimmings.
*

+1

also "warn" my SA that i want power window problem-free once i received Preve as that is common issues which should be solve immediately... hence i dislike to stripping my door panel or anything which still in brand new condition / virgin condition... tongue.gif

Can't trust everything that the SA says. Some people will promise 'Heaven & Earth' to close the sale. On a personal note, if my SA drives a Preve, I'm more likely to believe him  tongue.gif Mine unfortunately drives a Vios  vmad.gif
*

duh... my SA called me up for documentation submission first even though without dropping booking fees... sweat.gif
anyway he driving new Proton Saga bcos he is the last guy left the shop and i watch him drive away with the car...

Collected my white CFE yesterday. 😃 So far there's only one thing bothering me. My driver's window tinting has a huge bubble near the bottom. Besides that everything else is just fine. Anybody opt to own a preve can contact this SC, his name is Tom 017-3752646. The show room Atiara is located in Taman Megah along side LDP. Rebate 4k for CFE. Took me only a week to get my car including car loan approval. Highly recommend. Cheers Previans.
*

wondering are u the one leaving the show room ytday ard 730pm with a lady driver?

Yeah man. I was very much impressed with their stock yard. They actually rented the whole 3 stories parking lot to store new cars. It's way better than Volkswagen where I work, all the new cars are parked in an open car park.  rclxms.gif
*

sound good, at least our car wont expose to weather even though they keep stocks at show room... smile.gif

i told my SA to hold my order as i no placing booking fees, perhaps i may delay my plan to end of next year instead for full rectification within 1 year time frame...

wow bro..you listed all the problem....maybe you should advertise the problem in the newspaper front page, then Proton will take some action.. tongue.gif
*

sad to heard so much problem of preve... proved nothing changed...
i guess may drop my interest and go for other cars instead...

because even my SA no pushing me for sales anymore as he keep making calls for status last 2 days ago... because i argue that he giving zero commitment as the power window still no solved yet and ask me top up for inspira... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Those were old stocks, which with bulging issue.
Latest batch do updated with the redesigned power window regulator, which only lessen the issue of door trimboard bulging issue. Completely eliminate it? Not yet.

SA will not able to give you any guarantee, even Proton themselves could not YET.
*

anyway, my info is from the owner owned preve 2 days only, chassis no close to 16k.
he very sure and confirm the bulging issues and here his reply "Can definitely feel Bengkak wan."

It is an unresolved matter. Confirmed by Proton.
Their vendor is working this.
It happen on Saga BLM too.
*

guess give another 1 year grace period... it should be design problem if it still unsolvable after 1 year grace period...
but still cant compare to BLM as the price differences almost double...
unless proton still using saga's power window design standard on Preve... sweat.gif

Only been to SC twice. 1000km service and 10,000km service.

Only went for oil change. But the waiting for my turn to service the car.... It'd be better if there are less ppl. I can have my car done in less than 1 hr.
*

there have no way to speed up the service speed even though the number of preve reduced...
beside, out there still have other proton models too to jam up the queue... hence the worker's "tak-apa" mentality too...

as my experiences, i went to perodua SC for power window switch replacement as i confirmed the fault, but i asked to make appointment and may need 2 days arrangement even though swap the switch only... fed up, i went to other authorized SC immediately for replacement, just take about 20-30 minutes to settle whole things as lucky that no any car servicing that moment...

that the reasons i never went back to SC after the 10k km service and DIY service for engine oil replacement with my own efforts at my own home smile.gif

As long as the power windows can wind up and down, what are you people complaining about? Got 10 years warranty...can always ask the SC to replace during the normal service if anything wrong..and you need to service your Proton at the authorize SC for the warranty to be valid  whistling.gif
*

wasn't the power window regulator issues like those old time such as failure motor, broken bracket, cable snapped, poor plastic roller, etc...

as checked, it is the design issues of door frame or power window regulator... it could be weak metal structure caused the bend...

seem the design of Preve PW = Saga PW... sigh... sad.gif
