applied my card via a roadshow, together with 8-10 colleagues of mine.
all gotten our cards, and the smartag/ tng.
at the meanwhile, all of us (ALL), altogether received call from UOB agent, asking us to apply for their credit card, balance transfer, loan...
wonder, how can the agent do this kind of thing, selling our information to their competitors, the other banks?
is this the way they deal with our very personal data? the competitor agent even have our name, phone everything...

Those salesperson may not be directly under Standard Chartered. Even their credit card call support is outsourced.

Today, approached by Price Solutions at Shopping Mall...  They told me SCB will launch a New Card at the mid-May, is a Travel Card which can earn Air Miles & to Convert to Air Tickets...  SCB will bring Back the 0.5% cash back & Other Benefits SCB Business Plat. after they have finish on the 15% Petrol Rebate promo which end on This Month...  Btw, the Agent said No More High CL with their Credit Card (SCB famous for High CL) & ppl who earn more than $36,000 p.a can get Credit Card from 3 different Card's Issuer Only (said that Bank Negara have Tighten up on CC application now), True or Not we x Know yet... |

I get calls from everywhere (HLB, SCB, outsourced centers, etc) offering cc loan, balance transfer, etc. |

I've canceled the JustOne credit card. How long should I wait before I can be considered as a NEW applicant to SCB for the purpose of getting those good promo for new SCB customer?

Thinking to get one for my younger brother.
WHich one is better? SCB or Maybank Amex? I received Amex suppcard leaflet that posted to my house.

How many supplementary cards can I apply under this latest promotion, to be eligible for the RM 300 cashback?
I've tried enquiring via Standard Chartered call centre a few times and I've been given different answers each time for the same question.
One person said no matter how many supplementary cards I apply, I will be entitled to the RM 300 cashback for one supplementary card only.
While another person said, I can apply for upto 5 supplementary cards and I will get RM300 cashback for ALL 5 cards.
So which is the right answer?
