yeah.. me been wondering.. how do we 'get' the free rear seat belts?? unsure.gif

yo mADmaN, did you do any upgrades to the brakes assembly? like steel braided brake lines, bigger rotor etc?

cuz mine felt like 'not biting' if doing some spirited driving in short course. Needed to step on a lil bit harder to get the brakes bite hard. hmm.gif

the best option is to use MYvi brakes, is Plug and PLay

i was considering the myvi brakes actually... ur right its plug and play.... and is the best and easiest option as there alot of different brands of pads and of diffferent quality and prices which are widely available..also the discs are quite easy to find...

BUT........

i was reading through the myvi forum and it seems theres ALOT of cases of the discs warping. one of the reasons why the myvi brakes are quite easily available. coz people are claiming for warranty... and they sell off the new units and upgrade their discs to something better. the disc warping issue is so common that even the perodua SC knows about it...and just do a minimal check when u complain.

AXT discs also have the same warping issue... and i dont know of any other affordable and reliable aftermarket discs for the myvi. they did mention d-sport or something like that in their forum...but couldnt find any details.

haha.. I do read somewhere bout people recommending swapping with Myvi's brakes as Myvi's are ventilated discs right? that helps alot in cooling.
nak cari Brembo.. mana ada size untuk Kelisa. laugh.gif

Kalau ada pun, minimum size for rims will be 16".. laugh.gif
*
yes..is ventilated..i heard some even use honda brakes.not sure which model

Hi,

Yes the myvi brakes are ventilated. I have claimed my discs many times under warranty due to vibration issues. I personally think that the type of metal used OR the thickness of the discs are not thick enough to be used as a ventilated disc type. I used to drive a 10 yr old kancil, that never have much noticeable vibration on the 10y/o stock solid metal discs even after 10 yrs. There was an attempt by the myviclub to order some brembo discs (PnP) but the supplier fizzled out, so no comment on brembo discs (but sample shown at that time does look good biggrin.gif)

Therefore I'd stick with solid discs if I were u  nod.gif . Maybe the expansion/contraction of the thinner ventilated disc material is the one causing the warping problem. I am quite certain it is not due to pad material unevenly transferring to the disc as I use my handbrake extensively when stopped, instead of pressing on the brake pedal.
*
aren't the new disc already solve the issue or disc wrapping. You need to some number on the disc to determine, can't remember..i think it was 17 or something like that

Sifu out there. I got a Kelisa SE MT, I just changed my clutch a year ago and was clocked 25K++ km. Recently I found out that the clutch got problem again and only clocked 35k++ km, I was told by a Perodua mechanic that Kelisa MT got this kind of clutch problem and they are unable to solve the problem unless change to AT, what the hell is that answer, change to AT cost a lot man. Got any idea to solve this clutch problem?
*
that guy is talking rubbish..my first clutch lasted me for 110k, what problem are you having, hard to engage 1st and 2nd gear?.

10 liters is RM27.00, that means I still can travel around 130 km even the pointer points to the red region?

When I fill in about 10 liters, the pointer can go up nearly half of the gauge scale, which make me think how is the gauge works? Kelisa got 40L of tank, how can it go up nearly half when just only fill about 10L ?
*
u can't judge the meter against how many liters, as the tank is not symmetric mar. don't you notice, your 1st gap and 4th gap petrol tends to finish slower compare with the 2nd and 3rd gap?..

When I drive , its shaking and quite noisy.
Ever happen to you guys before?
What should I do to make it quiet ya?
Thank you.
*
izzit a buzzing or tapping sound?..usually is the 3rd brake light. remove the light and remove a small metal plate from the light.

mine have this problem too...but when in Reverse gear.... vibrate very hard esp when the engine is cold..
the mechanic said that it's timing probem and need to go back to perodua. they will use the computer to adjust the ecu ect...
i don't have time to do that yet... is it true...
*
there is no need to go back the perodua, what you can do is disconnect ya battery terminal for few minutes then connect back, then start the engine idle. Whats ya car mileage now? auto?

i heard any brand works same way...

n tat day i went eneos 1U, tat fella told me kelisa cant use CAI (cool air intake) cuz limited space.. so muz diy.. reli?

on kelisa whic UR product i shud get? to improve my handling..
*
CAI, you have to DIY

OCT, any brand is the same, even cap ayam will do

for UR, get the fender and 4 point bar ( i would still recommend change to adjustable suspension as all this bars give very minimal improvement)

drop-in...easier. quiet and don't have to figure out on the heat problem. both open and drop-in has their pro and cons, so just pick one which more practical
