QUOTE(icez @ Sep 16 2008, 12:26 AM) I have this problem too. I reckon its just the bulb behind the "D4" indicator. Fixing would require removing the meter panel which I think is a waste of time. used to have similar problem. But then, maybe my dad have had the car sent for servicing and might have asked them to fix the bulb and now it's working fine. QUOTE(Charlton @ Sep 16 2008, 01:53 AM) Like to ask all sifus, engine mounts problem. Get it replaced with OEM engine mounts from Perodua SC. Just like what detomaso said. Any of you know any good and experienced kelisa mechanics in Penang? My car (EZi Yr 2004) is having engine vibration problem when "D" is engaged / car stop + aircon switched on. I also wasted some money to change my all my mountings but the vibration is still there. Appreciate all help |

QUOTE(vobboblogs @ Sep 16 2008, 08:51 PM) mine have this problem too...but when in Reverse gear.... vibrate very hard esp when the engine is cold.. engine mounts. Get it replaced. the mechanic said that it's timing probem and need to go back to perodua. they will use the computer to adjust the ecu ect... i don't have time to do that yet... is it true... I had the very same problem few weeks before and last weekend, my dad sent for a replacement. The vibration is gone. Timing problem will occur on all gears. Not only in reverse gear. Because timing is constant and doesnt rely on the gear selection. Timing relies on throttle input. |

QUOTE(kurz @ Sep 20 2008, 11:12 PM) you must need heat shield. checkout the engine bay and locations of the air intake. It is going to be behind the radiator am I right? It is going to be hot air all around. Best solution (to me), relocate the battery to boot and re-route the intake pipe to the location of the battery and you can do a CAI too. |

QUOTE(sunny281199 @ Sep 29 2008, 05:01 PM) hi everyone! answered in blue1.did anyone ever encounter kelisa headlamp become yellowish color? it used to be crystal clear rite? wonder how much it cost for one/pair? No need to buy new pair. Simply go to hardware shop and look for headlamp cleaner/shine. I dont know the brand of the product. Anything that says can bring the shine of the headlamp, go and try it. If the headlamp is made of glass, brake fluid can be used. But Kelisa's is plastic. So, better use the one from hardware shop. 2.how much is a fully repaint job? mine is kelisa se yr2004 (oozy orange). take care of it very much until some fella (kids) scratch it. is it better to paint back the original color? i plan to paint it like the new mini cooper (blue+black+white) if you wanna re-paint whole body part, can cost up to 2K. How bad is the scratches? If it's only on the side, you can go to paint shop to just re-paint the affected area. 3.i live in penang, where to get PU front/rear fender skirting? how much? I dont know. I'm not from Penang. |

QUOTE(sunny281199 @ Oct 2 2008, 08:22 PM) Hi farique, thanks for the feedback. Try to use the product available from hardware shop. Or I think in Giant has it. Not too sure bout it though. Not sure that might do the trick or not basically all the list below happen at different timing: i)driver side from front door till rear door. ii)front engine bonette iii)driver side engine fender cover dented (quite severe) iv)2 rear door slight dented believe caused by other people car door hit it when open. do the paint job requires to remove the engine if plan to paint different color? wow.. quite alot of dents and scratches. Before doing whole body painting, they'll have to 'cure' all those dents and scratches by applying putty to cover the infected area. Bodywork might take a week or so. Paint work might take a few days or so. If you intend to paint the engine bay fully, might need to take out all stuff engine, dashboard, floor mats, sound insulation, seats, interior body panel etc. But, if you just want to paint exterior, the engine will not be taken out. They'll paint the exterior parts only. So, when you open up the hood, the engine bay will still with the old color. You also can ask them to paint the engine bay a lil, they'll cover the engine parts with papers and they'll just paint the area that is accessible by the paint spray. Mind you, if you want to change to other color than standard color, you need to tell JPJ about the color changing. They'll alter the green card of the car. Also, it have something to do with insurance too. |

QUOTE(sunny281199 @ Oct 4 2008, 10:16 PM) ha! good question! how about the front wheels? similar method? I oni learnt it today from the mechanic. i)jack-up your car (rear side). ii)your rear wheel hanging in the air. iii)spin your rear wheel clockwise (right side wheel) & anti-clock (left side wheel) manually by hand. iv)while your wheel is spinning, place your hand on the car's body (the part where the fuel cover or the other side) v)notice any vibration? if vibration present...it's time to change QUOTE(mADmAN @ Oct 5 2008, 02:01 AM) @farique Super Pro... no idea man...but if u ever find PU bushings for kelisa like super pro or something lemme know QUOTE(zacevox @ Oct 5 2008, 04:01 AM) 850 any better than 1000? You gotta be kidding me. 1000 is way better than 850. Its always like that. Bigger is always better. the 850 is from Kancil. Fitted to Kelisa. but ofcourse, fuel consumption is better than 1000 la. |

QUOTE(sunny281199 @ Oct 7 2008, 10:26 AM) nope. Not for me. The car isn't mine. It's under my mom's. I only drive it like you stole it. QUOTE(mADmAN @ Oct 7 2008, 02:26 PM) wat da daaaarrrrrrkkkk???? I dont know bro. I was fukin shocked when my dad gets home and told me that one side cost 2K and needed to order from KL. So, currently the car still using the almost broken driveshaft. man i hope ur dad didnt change it.....u can get good quality driveshafts out there for less than 200 per piece... somemore with the balance 3.6k can get u a pretty decent ICE already seriously la...i think the perodua SC is only good for servicing ur car....replacements...go other workshops coz service centres tend to over charge 200 per piece? is it brand new or used? Know any contacts? If the 200 is brand new and original, we're sure fooked. bro, have you replaced the door sills? Any idea how much does it cost to replace all 4 door? Really envy those cars who has "thump" kind of door close. Not "gang" kind of sound. |

QUOTE(azmihamzah @ Oct 18 2008, 06:51 AM) been using Caltex RON 92 for 2 full tanks since last raya... wow. that's like RM10=100km.. my FC (RM2.15 petrol RON 92) first full tank(mostly on highway) = Rm65 go until 610km second nearly full tank (everyday on KL city jam) = RM60 until 490km quite good eh? anybody else use RON 92 for their kelisa here? here kinda hard looking for RON92. Only a few stations cater RON92. QUOTE(lonewolf @ Oct 18 2008, 08:38 AM) CAI, you have to DIY CAI.. too cramped. Plus, the radiator is located betul² opposite the air filter box. OCT, any brand is the same, even cap ayam will do for UR, get the fender and 4 point bar ( i would still recommend change to adjustable suspension as all this bars give very minimal improvement) The best way is, take out the left headlamp and the battery, relocate to boot. Viola! Can make CAI perfectly. Even ram effect can be done. drive on the road use only one headlamp je la.. |
