QUOTE(Icehart @ Jan 25 2012, 09:59 PM) You guys know any reliable workshop for me to replace my side mirror? if cant find it in any spare part shop, go back to PSC. Some idiots go bang my side mirror today and I think need to replace the whole set. Costs me RM300 for right side. It was in 2009. Some a55hole broke the mirror glass. |

guys..guys..
need opinions. I just changed my exhaust tip to a slightly better looking whilst replacing the muffler box and redo the pipe to go under the trailing arm. Dont know how long it will last. Done this back in Nov 11. Now, I just noticed that, the tail pipe is black. Really black. Im guessing its running rich or I guess, too rich. Just for information, the engine is manufactured in 2001 and has never gone through any top overhaul or complete overhaul. The most extreme I'd say replacing the spark plugs oil seals which requires to open the cam cover. And that's it. So, is there I should do with the blackened tail pipe? |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Feb 3 2012, 08:55 PM) go check out marco exhaust....last time rm6xx can get full syntem for kelisa....quite bang for buck....only slightly louder than stock... but quite good gains... bro, ur ex was using sscus am I rite? which model is yours and how much u did the installation including custom railing? if not mistaken using white steel I in need of changing the front seats and thinking of getting used like Subaru's, FTOs or Levin's. But Im afraid the custom railing will not fit and afraid the seats will be too large to be installed. Any recommendations bro? also, am looking for 1 pair of headlights. Mine is getting way too yellowish. Polishing it is not gonna save it. |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Feb 7 2012, 01:27 AM) Yeah i was using sscus nsi...the railing is also sscus....all in rm1180. yeah, Im aware the size of the seats. NSI is obsolete. How's the size in side cabin? I dont like the Euro design. Not my cup of coffee. E8, EP310, Star is my cup of coffee. But dunno the size can fit or not. U should be more worried about the size of the seats fitting into the kelisa rather than the rails...not many seats can fit into the kelisa...n the railings can be easily customized by any seat shop Oh btw, does the seat sits lower than stock? |

QUOTE(adyviral @ Feb 9 2012, 02:06 AM) nice kelisa u have thre..simple and neat..i mean EX-Kelisa..hehehe if want to fill the wheel arches, use 15 rims with 6" or 6.5" wide. 7" wide will require to knock the inner wheel well. my kelisa model is EXI Auto 1.0 2003.. still in good condition..and very standard..untouchable..lols.. i see in some photo in web they do mini cooper mod..is it ok if i mod the kelisa to mini cooper ?..i just want it simple..any body kits ur guys can suggest? RIM / TYRE wht size is best for kelisa?..14'/15'..and tyre size?..want it lowered so-so and no bumpy.. Suspension ?? really need u guys help..hehe... mostly people would go for 165/55 or 165/50 or 175/50 or 175/55. I'd recommend 165/55 on 6.5" wide rims. be reminded tho, the offset of the rims, look for something like these: 6 JJ = +40 6.5 JJ = +38 7 JJ = +35 and pair those with 165s. Hipariee~ Suspension, easy way would be change to lowering springs. Quite alot of brands out there. From cap ayam that cost less than rm200 for 4 to branded that costs rm500 for 4 corners. For the budget minded, I'd recommend ProRide brand by Sapura. |

QUOTE(nfg @ Feb 10 2012, 11:55 PM) My third brake light is producing this really annoying vibrating sound that drives me crazy, especially when the aircond is on. I read a post a long time ago saying something about removing the light, and removing some sort of metal from it. Can anyone give a bit more specific way to eliminate the sound? that could be the brake light cover loosen. Give it a good gentle smack to get it tighten back. I plan to change my steering to Daihatsu. Which one should I get. YRV? Passo? QUOTE(WoeiChyuan99 @ Feb 27 2012, 12:51 AM) my case is RM2k+, inside out job including very bad knocking job bro, mind asking them if they can do inner fender roll/knock to fit wider rims? And how much per fender? if solely exterior spray job the price shall below rm1.5k kindly contact Borman or Jackson for the price due to the varies of colour and jobs needs to be done, no worry their service is good. I will resend my car to them two months later, as mentioned by Borman that the paint is not completely stick on to my new bumper, he will spray another layer for me at no charge. Thanks bro. btw, what is the color code? looks nice the color. Pearl white I guess? Inside out as in the engine bay as well? QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Feb 27 2012, 12:53 AM) Hmm...looks good. all those bars.. going to trackday is it?
hey, if you are lowering your ride with low springs or adjustables, do we need to swap out the roll bar for the rear? Replaced it with adjustable roll-center bar? |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Mar 5 2012, 07:57 PM) wat roll bar? yes and yes. Panhard bar ahh.. that's the name. if ur talking about the bar at the back of the car that goes across from left to right...its called a panhard rod...some call it castor bar, lateral rod no need to change....but better if u do click HERE, scroll down a lil bit and click play to see wat it does had it installed in my ex-kelisa .... can see it HERE roll bar is anti roll bar...ARB...aka sway bar. stock dun have it...if u have it, no need to change when lowering. wow.. RM250 per piece. That's expensive. I think there's a shop do produce this locally. A tyre shop me thinks, seen the ads in magz with loads of pics with lower arm and camber kits. Personally I think this item is crucial since we are altering the geometrical of the suspension travel with lower springs. The body roll would be apparent on the left side since the wheel is pulled slightly inward and the right wheel is pushed slightly outward. Oh another thing, has anyone heard of S Racing spring? I think its written Sus.Tec on the spring. Check this out. It lowers by 50mm. That's alot compared to APM Performax with 35mm and ProRide 30mm. Even the price is very competitive comparing with APM and ProRide. Is this worthy? Its made in japan (claimed by the ads la.. ) |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Mar 12 2012, 02:00 PM) if ur talking about absorbers and not ABS... ya.. absorbers.. somebody asked this question before in kelisaclub a long time ago... and if i remember correctly the answer is no. no eh? but I looked around in K2OC and some say the spring from myvi fits into kelisa or kenari or even viva.. and also peeps in perduavivaclub do mention in using Myvi absorbers.. then my logic got thinking, if it fits Viva, then it should fits Kelisa.. I guess it dont fit.. then.. |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Mar 13 2012, 12:53 PM) im not too sure la dood.. last time when someone asked about the absorbers they said no.... i may be wrong... u try and see la.. hahaha.. there's one dude selling GAB adjustables.. mix of front Myvi and rear viva.. selling for 550. He said in the ad that he just took the rear Myvi adjustable abs and selling the used Viva's rear absorbers together with the Myvi front adjustble absorbers.. but why do u wanna fit myvi/viva abs into a kelisa? I thought if the front and rears absorbers fit, gonna drop my money for that. But found out that Viva's abs doesnt fit into Kelisas.. but, one thing that got me wonder is, all myvi, kenari, kelisa and viva springs are interchangeable! And I thought the absorbers too.. oh well.. GAB kelisa adjustables hi/lo only fronts rite? Same goes to Mine's, and HIT and also ARH. KYB RS Pro have rear hi/lo like your ex car.. using D1 if I remember correctly.. But KYB adjustables costly.. still contemplating in swapping out the stockers with something stiff and low.. I mean, really low.. |
