I just changed my exhaust tip to a slightly better looking whilst replacing the muffler box and redo the pipe to go under the trailing arm. Dont know how long it will last. Done this back in Nov 11.


Now, I just noticed that, the tail pipe is black. Really black. Im guessing its running rich or I guess, too rich.

Just for information, the engine is manufactured in 2001 and has never gone through any top overhaul or complete overhaul. The most extreme I'd say replacing the spark plugs oil seals which requires to open the cam cover. And that's it.

So, is there I should do with the blackened tail pipe?

I in need of changing the front seats and thinking of getting used like Subaru's, FTOs or Levin's. But Im afraid the custom railing will not fit and afraid the seats will be too large to be installed.

Any recommendations bro?


also, am looking for 1 pair of headlights. Mine is getting way too yellowish. Polishing it is not gonna save it.

yeah, Im aware the size of the seats. NSI is obsolete. How's the size in side cabin? I dont like the Euro design. Not my cup of coffee. E8, EP310, Star is my cup of coffee. But dunno the size can fit or not.

changed to new headlights and bought Osram Night Breaker Plus with Philips BlueVision Ultra parking bulb. Tonite gonna adjust the beam.

if want to fill the wheel arches, use 15 rims with 6" or 6.5" wide. 7" wide will require to knock the inner wheel well.

mostly people would go for 165/55 or 165/50 or 175/50 or 175/55. I'd recommend 165/55 on 6.5" wide rims.

be reminded tho, the offset of the rims, look for something like these:

6 JJ = +40
6.5 JJ = +38
7 JJ = +35

and pair those with 165s.

Suspension, easy way would be change to lowering springs. Quite alot of brands out there. From cap ayam that cost less than rm200 for 4 to branded that costs rm500 for 4 corners. For the budget minded, I'd recommend ProRide brand by Sapura.

wow.. RM250 per piece. That's expensive. I think there's a shop do produce this locally. A tyre shop me thinks, seen the ads in magz with loads of pics with lower arm and camber kits.

Personally I think this item is crucial since we are altering the geometrical of the suspension travel with lower springs. The body roll would be apparent on the left side since the wheel is pulled slightly inward and the right wheel is pushed slightly outward.



Oh another thing, has anyone heard of S Racing spring? I think its written Sus.Tec on the spring. Check this out. It lowers by 50mm. That's alot compared to APM Performax with 35mm and ProRide 30mm.

Even the price is very competitive comparing with APM and ProRide. Is this worthy? Its made in japan (claimed by the ads la.. )

guys.. can Kelisa fit Myvi abs and Viva Abs?

no eh? but I looked around in K2OC and some say the spring from myvi fits into kelisa or kenari or even viva..

and also peeps in perduavivaclub do mention in using Myvi absorbers..

then my logic got thinking, if it fits Viva, then it should fits Kelisa.. I guess it dont fit.. then..

hahaha.. there's one dude selling GAB adjustables.. mix of front Myvi and rear viva.. selling for 550. He said in the ad that he just took the rear Myvi adjustable abs and selling the used Viva's rear absorbers together with the Myvi front adjustble absorbers..

I thought if the front and rears absorbers fit, gonna drop my money for that. But found out that Viva's abs doesnt fit into Kelisas..

but, one thing that got me wonder is, all myvi, kenari, kelisa and viva springs are interchangeable! And I thought the absorbers too.. oh well..


GAB kelisa adjustables hi/lo only fronts rite? Same goes to Mine's, and HIT and also ARH.

KYB RS Pro have rear hi/lo like your ex car.. using D1 if I remember correctly.. But KYB adjustables costly..
