QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 30 2013, 08:19 PM) Let's see how it goes... no more DX pro grade lenses since the D300 time though. D700 did cannibalize D3's sales afterall with the same sensor and AF system and quite similar burst rate. i got to agree on this. seeing how the APS-C sensors are being used in mirrorless system and how they are getting better and better, it's almost no point in getting a huge APS-C sensor DSLR camera anymore. i might be wrong though... plus, sales have been bad. the market is a bit too saturated. (look at the sales of d600) so i guess they wont do a d400 (whatever the model name is going to be) but rather a replacement for the d7000. what i mean is they wont do a APS-C D4...

If you shoot close-up, the Depth of Field will be more shallow. So, if you shoot closeup, you need to have use even smaller aperture. Another factor is focal length, the longer focal length, you get more shallow Depth of Field. When you shoot with Kit Lens, the background more clear because you're using wider angle.

Hi Nikon-nikon sifus I've recently just purchased a SB700 to play around with.. so far I've only been using it indoors.. I was wondering whether you guys could give a little bit of comments on how you use your speedlights when outdoors in the dark where there is nothing to deflect the flash lights? Thanks in advance for the advices

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 31 2013, 06:57 PM) notice he asked 'outdoors in the dark'... Require even more power than day light... unless you plan to kill day light ambient with your SB700 pointed upwards lol.
