I just randomly use the anti-slip mat that usually can be found in car market, and place my Smart Tag there.

When going pass the toll, i do not need to stretch my arm to drawer to take my Smart Tag.

ONE THING I NEED TO REMIND :

DO NOT PUT YOUR SMART TAG THERE WHEN YOU PARK YOUR CAR AT PUBLIC CAR PARK, AND UNDER STRONG SUNLIGHT.

with all mods of hardwiring ST to the car batteries,

have anyone tried wiring a mid size solar panel to a ST?
Like to charge the ST battery? (of course with a rechargeable battery in the ST)
so a constant low voltage charges the battery over time.
(voltage output will be regulated by the battery)

I have been using a snow bike solar charger wired to my car battery and my battery never dies.
(but who actually leaves the ST on the windscreen anyways laugh.gif )

With all seriousness,
why proton never have thought of incorporating/built-in a ST into their cars.
I mean, its a small chip, probably made in malaysia;
how hard is it to mount in into all proton cars hood/behind the rear view mirror?

Proton will have the market premium/advantage of having a TnG card slot near the coin box with a ST sensor in the dash/hood. How hard can that be? want a sketch?, I don't mind sketching it out..

Prolly somebody will take this idea after posting this on lowyat, but i don't care, it will benefit more people. Take it!
someone here with connection go rub some shoes in proton and pass the message to people in proton R&D..

It will end the madness of people smashing windscreens for a small 2nd hand device worth 50 doh.gif
my 4x4 in got smashed for a non existent ST in the car long ago doh.gif

proton will then have a premium feature that no imports will have.

I'm in construction field leh.. no certs in engineering and design (cannot be hired haha)
and want to focus building my career so I don't mine giving ideas to people to follow up.

But if I happen to have coffee with dr. M maybe i can directly tell him
Im currently overseas and will be back in malaysia soon so
In the future if i meet him/or any higher ups in proton, i will definitely give some ideas to him/them.
or if i get some projects from those toll operators biggrin.gif

previous exp in malaysia is that unless u tell the top management, and they agree,
nothing can be executed. mid tier management will always fight and it goes nowhere.

anyways who ever in lowyat reading the post above and can execute it, cheers.
end the mass misery/fear of smash and buying ST/batteries.
