try be4 with a cheap adapter, with no electronic aperture control and auto focus, the lens always wide open.
but since can control the shuttle speed, no problem on handheld with normal daylight.

just now had a video shooting with 5n, but it stop at 29:50 ...i guess overheating....then i turn it off and restart it, bt lasted for 2 mins only....then i tilted the screen for cooling effect, then no more problem i guess( i only capture 10 mins+ coz session ends)

I've placed the Tutorial Link on the 1st page. But anyway the formula seems to be focal length/ aperture.  So mine is 35mm f1.8 (nikon),  where is 35/1.8 is 1.9444 cm which should be the max size of the shape.  But for this experiment, i cut out 1.2cm X 1.2 cm in the middle only.

I haven't tried on the Zoom lens let..    50/5.6 =0.89 cm...  haha..

I sold it before, but now I think I missed the quality of the lens...

If you ask me, I shoot filterless. But then again, I've been playing with SLR's for 10+ years now... and my lens hood is always in used as a form of protection.
And no, the lens hood is used properly, not placed in reverse as how one would for storage.

I'm just curious more on the 19mm as its now being sold for 100usd. Anybody is using it?

While the 30mm doesn't have OSS, but when you pair it with ISO 1600/3200 and wide open at 2.8, why do you need OSS?

Heck, I've been whacking it at 2.8 all the time and I've noticed very few (if any) blurred shots! If you look and read the reviews, this is one of those few rare lenses that have no need to stop down at all, unlike most in order to get the best out of it!

Try it. You'll be suprised that even without the OSS, this is a great performer. A lot of ppl are surprised by just how good it is. On paper, it's dismissed due to the lack of OSS. That it's only 2.8. But once you have a go, and you realised that for ONLY a few hundreds RM, there is absolutely no comparisons whatsoever!

Also, when you shake the lens, it feels like there is something loose in it! Really, no joke!
My only regret? I wished I had it earlier!!!

If you go through my blog, almost every shot is taken with the 30mm, especially all those Lego ones and my friend's wedding thread, sans the group photos.

It's now officially my kit lens. I hardly want to touch my 1855 anymore. And to make things worst, I recently got a Pentax to NEX adapter so that I can use my old Pentax 50/1.4 and 100/3.5. Guess I'll be going on primes soon!

Now, about that 19mm...
