Anyone tried Canon L lenses with NEX before?
QUOTE(geek8585 @ Nov 28 2012, 10:04 AM) honestly speaking... i tested on nex lens lineup... don't have any single lens can satisfied the hunger of 24.3mpx except the SEL24F18CZ... at normal size you wont see the difference, zoom in and you will shock with the result... the upcoming 35F18 and 1018F4 still not sure about the result... but if really want to go for 7, zeiss lens is a must... else get some manual focus prime... hope it helps... QUOTE(merchant9 @ Nov 28 2012, 07:18 PM) A. Nex 6, kit lens, Sony bag, Sony 8gb class 4 SD card for 2.8k - Foto Edar in Sg Wang, near Vincci ms is better but expensive. if u take a lot of continuous shots, get the sandisk extreme 45mb/s. superb.B. Nex 6, kit lens, Sony bag, 2x Sony 8gb class 4 SD card and Digi Eye tripod for 2.9k - Photo Shangrila in Lowyat C. Nex 6, kit lens, Sony bag, Sony 8gb class 4 SD card and Digi Eye tripod for 2899 - Boeing Photo in Sg Wang And no, I am not a bro! Added on November 28, 2012, 7:19 pm Even though I'm a lady but my bargaining skills have always been poor. For sure the salesman will have 101 excuses which will convince me to give in to them. Yes, I'm aware that the tripod is not good. But seriously, do we need class 10 for Nex 6? Which is better? Memory Stick or SD Card? you should ask the salesman for package a dont want sd card how much. 8gb may not be enough esp if u are planning to take 1080 50p video. i'm using sandisk extreme 32gb. less than rm100 bought from best bargain at sim lim square singapore. Added on November 28, 2012, 8:51 pmi thought the best price so far is from studio zaloon or dy divine? did u ask there to compare? This post has been edited by poolcarpet: Nov 28 2012, 08:51 PM |

QUOTE(whateva2k @ Dec 3 2012, 10:43 AM) Besides being an adapter for alpha lens, it also turns your NEX auto focus to phase detection type, which focuses much faster especially for moving subjects. i thought 5r and 6 has phase detection af built in already with standard e series lens? And no, its only compatible with alpha mount lens. |

You can also find the NEX-EF autofocus adaptor on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Autofocus-Adapter-...=item3a7b8de913 less than RM1k For plain adapters, it will just allow you to mount the lens that all, no aperture control and only manual focus. I've used it before with Canon EF 50mm 1.8, in fact letting go the adapter now as I don't have any more Canon EF lens. QUOTE(crazeoneeighteen @ Dec 4 2012, 09:39 AM) |

Think you'll need an adapter and you'll lose the autofocus capability.
I saw someone selling the SEL55210 - maybe a better fit for the NEX? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2605466/all QUOTE(chancl47 @ Dec 11 2012, 02:46 PM) |
