I find the audio barely bearable. I just adjusted the settings but the bass is not there. What did you guys change to?

I find reverse parking a little difficult to adjust. Bait cumbersome. Not like kelisa.

Well, we've quite a number of owners have added this so-called Active Sub-woofer in rear booth & the effect is overwhelming!  rclxms.gif Alternatively, you can also upgrade the front & rear speakers for some added bassy improvement. However, still sub-woofer prevail here brows.gif

Reverse parking difficult! Mind to elaborate more on it as ours rides are already a compact hatchy? tongue.gif

Adding a subwoofer .... Hmmm... Brand?

Yes reverse parking is cumbersome. Adjusting the car into a spot is easily crooked. Not like kelisa. Plus cornering I noticed is not very good. A bit wide rather than a clean cornering.

I use BHP too. Always. It is good.

Added on December 26, 2012, 11:58 pmI think another difference between 1.5 SE and myvi SE extreme is that extreme has led projector headlamps.

What is side door moulding?

Also, will have to look into updating my GPS - I hope it actually means better satellite detection.

Also - - my Myvi says on a full tank it can drive 311km which sounds really poor considering - if I wanted to try to drive after I 'finish' the 311km, how many km can I drive? Is it 5 or 50km? I think the Perodua ppl told me before but I forgot.

I find the EPS on my MYVI a bit mad. At what km/h, will the steering become harder? I find it a bit wonky. I personally find the handling a bit lousy on a MYVI.

Mmm, yes. I realised the handling was not very good when I got knocked by a car just before New Years.

does anyone know what the speed is for the EPS to make the steering harder? I think mine is off. It gets hard quite quick and takes along time to become soft again. (THIS SOUNDS SO WRONG!!!)

Only when I am at a traffic light and I begin acceleration does it revert to the light steering.

perodua should recalibrate the EPS steering system.

at stand still, the steering is heavy, between 20kmh to 50kmh, steering feels light, and above 50, feels heavy again.

Mmhmm and in Reverse it's light. It takes a long time to become light when you decelerate.

Added on January 4, 2013, 6:37 pmI blame the steering wheel and handling for my mishap. the lag didn't allow me to swerve.

Mine is still stuck at 8.9km/h. Every 200m, the range drops by 1km.

Also, I hate how I turn so much of the steering wheel yet the car doesn't turn as much.

You have to easy on ur throttle. Accelerate as linear as you can. And dont forget to reset hour average consumption after fuel up.
Infkate your tyre pressure to 34psi front and back and it improves fc as well but u get harsher ride.

My best fc was 15km/l for 1.5auto and mileage just hit 1300km. It would be better figure as the mileage increases.

how to reset hour average consumption?/

i've been pumping my tank full every week. I don't see how a Myvi 1.5 saves petrol. I've finally reached 1000km mileage. Hopefully, after the service, the fuel consumption will be better.

9KM/liter? That's pretty bad. I've been following a few economy driving tips, this may help.

1. Cruise to maintain your speed, or slow down - this is the number one tip for me. The moment you step on the brakes, you are already ruining fuel economy as you are wasting kinetic energy. Cruise on a downhill to maintain your speed, or if you see a red traffic light ahead. Some people advise to switch to neutral during a cruise to remove engine braking, but your engine will run on idle as a result. Others argue that during in gear, your engine has its fuel completely cut-off when throttle is not applied.

2. Your acceleration should be quick, but smooth. I've never found myself requiring to put so much pressure just to move around town.

3. Upshift as soon as you can, but not until your car's engine struggles at the next gear. The owner's manual advises to shift at around 2.1K RPM, for reference. If you're on an automatic, being light-footed should tell the TCU to shift up as soon as it can.

4. Don't reset the average meter and fool yourself.

I brought my car to the SC guys last Friday, and I stay in Subang. Been driving around Kota Damansara, Taman Desa, and USJ. At the SC, it was 8.9KM/litre - and just now it's at13.6KM/litre  nod.gif

Hmm. Maybe when I send it to the SC it'll get better.
