I personally feel that the 1.3 has enough power. Thanks partly to the light body of Myvi. So yea, I don't really recommend to increase more power for it. But if you insist, I guess Turbo is the best where u can feel the diff in power or maybe modding the exhaust would help a little.

You mean the 1.5 Myvi? Well, of coz the 1.5 has more power but the 1.3 power is more than enough to me.

So far, the car has not much problems. Most of the owners are happy with it . But do make a good check before collecting your ride. There may be defects like Bumper misaligned, rattling. Anyways, Myvi is a city car so yea, I'm sure most of us here knows that the handling of the ride is not really good. If you need better handling, adding some Anti Roll Bars would make a difference to it smile.gif Hope this helps

Use the overdrive when you wanna overtake (For the new Myvi, Overdrive = Gear 3). I do that always.

Hey guys, wanna ask does your Myvi's aircond compressor/radiator fan kick in and turn off every 5-10 seconds or so? Mine does it all the time. On. Off. On. Off. And every time it kicks in, I have a loss of power for a split second, which makes accelerating very unsmooth. \

Since my 1-month service is coming up, which service centre in the Selayang/Kepong/Batu Caves/Jalan Ipoh/KL area is the best?

it has been long time i observed about these things, but not just happen to me but to other myvi i've tested, so today i wrote and email to perodua..i paste a copy in here:

ELECTRIC POWER STEERING

FEEDBACK REGARDING EPS ASSIST WHICH AFFECT EPS RESPONSE TIME ADAPTING TO VEHICLE SPEED

SITUATION:

QUICK ACCELERATION FROM STANDSTILL WHEN THE EPS ASSIST IS HIGH TO HIGH SPEED 100KMH++. EPS ASSIST STILL HIGH FOR 15 SECONDS. AFTER 15 SECONDS PASSED THEN IT SETTLED TO THE LOW ASSIST.

SAME FOR QUICK DECELERATION TO BELOW 40KMH FROM HIGH SPEED. LOW ASSIST FOR FIRST 15 SECONDS, THEN IT SETTLED FOR HIGH ASSIST.

EPS ASSIST ONLY HAVE THREE MODE 1. HIGH(BELOW 40KMH) 2. MED(BELOW 60KMH) 3. LOW(ABOVE 60KMH)

EXPECTED:

EPS ASSIST SHOULD ADAPT TO VEHICLE SPEED IN REAL TIME.

ASSIST MODE SHOULD VARY CONTINUOUSLY.

SOLUTION:
ENGINEERING DEPT SHOULD DO TEST TO CONFIRM AND REQUIRE EPS ECU TO BE UPDATED.

yes that's why he experienced hard to turn the steering when quick deceleration from high speed. i did feel it too. the same thing when accelerating from standstill, try wiggle the steering left right. it feel like toy car, then it stiffen.

hmm..never driven a car with EPS be4...but heard alot of ppl say got delay
delay as in lag, like when u turn right, theres a slight delay be4 it actually does it
specifically grand livina
some other car doesn't seem to have this problem
me...i'd prefer hydraulic for the experience, handling
