QUOTE(keewah @ Nov 6 2012, 02:14 PM) Dear all Sifus , need some advices on my 6-7 years old Myvi. Since your car is not under P2 warranty anymore, better go outside workshop. Should be cheaper.Today i sent my car to Perodua Service Center (SC) to service due to some 'klock - klock' sound at my front left tyre there. My friend told me it is related to drive shaft since after changing absober , it still have those sound. So today I sent my car to SC and after service inspection, their technical inform me that both of my front drive shaft need to change cause it is leaking now. Total cost of chaning is around RM2200 with 6 months warranty. Shall I let SC to service or outsource to external mechanic? Thanks all sifus in advance |

QUOTE(shinn_tan @ Nov 6 2012, 05:57 PM) Myvi 1.3ez 2006 Think on the positive side bro. You can save up on insurance and servicing at SC. It's not too wise to spend most of our salary into car loan repayment. Black auto Reporting in I only manage to get a 2nd hand myvi. |

Anyone tried go service in SC after change the spark plug and air filter to aftermarket one? Can just tell them that we change it our self and no need them to change. Will they deduct the total cost of service after exclude those parts?

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Nov 11 2012, 02:47 PM) Oh ok thanks, but I'll still ask them when I take my car for servicing. Same here. The lag is there but not that long. Around 6-7 second I will say. Any idea which service centres are good in the KL/Selayang area anyone? Btw for the EPS steering, when you accelerate from standstill I can wiggle the steering for a few seconds before it stiffens up. I don't feel a lag of 15 secs though... |

QUOTE(ddr3 @ Nov 14 2012, 07:59 PM) hahhaa, me lazy too but since you said worth every penny, wanna give it a try later on, better than coating RM1k plus Hahaha, DIY is good. Atleast you can see how many minor scratches your car have when you wash and coat yourself. Very sakit hati at that time. |

QUOTE(zangun @ Nov 15 2012, 02:25 PM) my front bonnet have a lot of little scratch made from cat claw..huhu..how to shining back my bonnet and lose that scratch? by wax? Bro, wax is only for protecting the paint surface and give you that smooth shine. It cannot repair scratch or whatsoever. You need to polish to remove that scratch. How deep is the scratch? Even polish also only cannot remove deep scratches. and also if i use sport spring on my original absorber what will happen? hard and lowered? or soft and lowered? QUOTE(redhatlinux @ Nov 15 2012, 04:04 PM) i have some problem, my car "myvi 1.5 SE AUTO" performance drop when shifting from gear 2 to 3.. What do you mean by performance drop? Sudden torque dip or sudden RPM drop? is it spark plug or i need to tuning engine? or else.. haizz... help .. QUOTE(Cloud9Nos3 @ Nov 15 2012, 06:25 PM) Hi, my myvi reaching 1000km mileage soon. So i e-mailed to sc at wangsa maju for queries, they quoted me RM158.75 for engine oil, oil filter, drain lug gasket and atf. Anyway, i thought we need to only change engine oil and oil filter in our first service? My first service kena RM 19X include some RM 52 Perodua buzzer. So I guess the price is reasonable. Is this price reasonable? |

QUOTE(woaini87 @ Nov 17 2012, 04:56 PM) RM188 for spark plug? Mine change yesterday myvi 1.5 was 52 only for 4 pcs and whole service for 15k KM was rm200 52 is normal spark plugs. 188 is Iridium plugs which last way longer than normal plugs. Added on November 17, 2012, 5:00 pm Yesterday during service told them and they said during jam I should always tap on the accelerator if I hear the noise then it will go off. It's more of wobbly feel.. They do provide ultra racing bar(new) the front bar is 180 and anti roll bar (back low) is 280.. More expensive then UR dealer |

QUOTE(hiyyl @ Nov 18 2012, 07:17 PM) hi to all sifus, This 1 really depends on you. If you like spirited driving, go for manual. If you like relaxed city driving, go for auto. Just that manual will save FC a bit compared to auto.I'm goin to get a myvi 1.3, but having a hard time choosing between manual or automatic transmission. Can anyone enlighten me? |
