Our bro StormV won the "New Entry Winner" in last year BAKAC (Gundam modeling contest)
so of course he knows a lot

Bout the sand paper
you can get it at normal hardware store
buy no. 1000 & above (the no. higher means more fine)
I know some people will immerse the parts into hot water (not boiling water)
to remove the oil that stick on the parts
then when you paint, it can attach better on the surface
o.O wow.. Winner .. but really, ive seen his works on the other forum (link anyone?) and it was superb! really deserving!

1. priming usually is grey color, coz easy to check error.
3. well, like i said b4 that just my way of doing it. not necessary correct or the only way. just use u own way if u satisfy with the result.
np, dude. u r most welcome.
regarding the sand paper...i only manage to find 1200 grade on local hardware shop.
brother bee,
old history no need mentioned lar...paiseh saja.

1. oh okay, wat do u mean by check error? can u tell by priming? i thought its just another layer of paint..
2. the reason why i panel line first is because after spraying, the paint will fill up those panels and leaving a very shallow surface for me to draw.. tried scribing, but the paint came off together with it. but yeah, it was good experience. but now with the introduction of primers, maybe prime first, then only panel line huh?
how to see the sand paper grade? i went to tesco the other day and i got this one which says No. 00 (150) so the grade is 150? thats like the finest i can find there d.then again, its tesco lol.
