QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Nov 5 2012, 09:31 AM) Jjdesu, so far i didn't face any of this problem... You can always go back to ICS using Odin if you think these problem arise after upgrade... Can I revert to ICS if my phone is stock, not rooted and flashed? Or is there any way I can do an up-grade again with my stock phone since I have some issues, minor but irritating? TQ.

You can always reinstall the update as well. Hope this helps.

As stated and asked earlier, I am not tech savvy and as such do not know how to go about it. My phone is everything stock. Could you be so kind as to' tutor' me? TQ. With this JB up-grade different people are facing different problems with some not having any. I have been religiously following this thread and am personally facing some niggling problems. I have also googled and some of the problems are faced by others in other parts of the world as well.

QUOTE(imnew @ Nov 5 2012, 12:28 AM) huh.. that means rooting will void warranty no matter how? can undo rooting before claiming warranty? You should know that rooting will void your warranty. Keep this in mind before you start any rooting

I own a Note previously and was flashing heavily. I fried my phone motherboard one day and sent it to SC at Low Yat. I said to the SA that I root and did a bad flash. 3 days later...new motherboard! for FREE

Need to change motherboard. Before i sent back, I did flash back to stock firmware and reset binary counter( which I saw in the download mode). What i'm saying is Rooting void the warranty. If service centre still accept rooted phone then it's fine..good for us. But if they reject..also fine coz it's their absolute right to reject rooted phone. That's what i'm trying to instill here
