it's google phone/tablet. It will always be cheaper. Look at the history of all google nexus product. It has always been cheaper than other brands. I think it part of google's strategy to get more "modder community" to play with their nexus brand.

Logically thinking, google is trying to pass down their expertise to different mobile maker. Look at how they jump with different brand each time they release a brand new model. From HTC to Samsung to Asus to LG. So their idea is two fold. Pass down android making technology or expertise to brand maker and also sell it cheap so that more people adopt their android OS. This has been proven a successful method and you bet they will continue to do so.

why apple can offer us price in malaysia, while LG can't?

usd299 -> around rm900

maybe sell at rm1.2k to rm1.3k, different around rm300 to 400. that is huge margin.

even thought it still cheapest than other brands flagship, i will not consider. because this is call 'cheating'!!

According to the ICS Upgrade Schedule LG Mobile made in December, 2011. Their users almost waited a year and still haven't got their ICS update yet. I think might as well skip the ICS and jump to Jelly Bean.

Better straight jump to Nexus 4 in this case..rather than waiting for JB upgrades on your LG phone. Can be waiting another long neck year lolz

lol ya, pity them. After ICS then wait for Jelly Bean again until their neck long long. This shows that most of the users don't flash custom ROM. Stock update still consider important for most consumers.

Waiting for official price ...... I might reconsider to trade my S3 for this phone

im worried on lg nexus 4 camera(8 mp).since its based on lg optimus G(13 mp) which sucked in still image quality.so will the nexus 4(capture quality) any different?

im talking about lg's expertiese in camera sensors,which is quite "so-so" (based on 13 mp lg optimus g).btw,the current rrp for s3 isnt 2.2 k
