And I highly recommend you guys use TWRP as recovery as it allows nandroid backup to , say external USB thumb drives. Restoring has always been perfect for me so far. You will appreciate the space savings ( up to 2 GB per rom backup) especially if yours is a 16 GB unit
Really so good? But... Possible or not it occasionally doesn't recognize our usb drive? Never try twrp

It has NEVER fail me as recognition of the USB thumb drive is outside the android OS and should never be any issue Even on Note 2 now I have converted to use TWRP as recovery mode
To those of you are having lagginess problem after updating to 4.2, you might wanna try this out.
That guy is talking crap I always set my currents actively sync in background n do not faced problems he said Pointing it due to a certain app is possibly his own problem
Been using 4.2 for a week long and never get into unresolved lag. Only issue was the bad auto brightness (it is worst then 4.1.2) and the frequent freeze in browser when using flash player. (I know flash is not supported but AOSP browser work so fine in 4.1.2)

Uncle Benny, i notice you got a 32GB N7 too. How much memory is available for use when new, i.e. when fresh new out of the box? How's its general performance compared to Note II in terms of smoothness and gaming performance?
Will be getting a 32GB version when Newegg has it.

might be, but it's never a harm to try it out. Some people face it, it's an issue to them so they might wanna try that out and see whether his suggestion helps or not. I don't use Current as I have Pulse, Flipboard and Appy Geek already but I did untick the 'Wifi sync' in the Currents. Not using it so why let it sync in the background.
@Cynox, usable formatted space is around 27.5+ for the 32GB unit and I do feel that it is somehow faster than my 16GB despite the same specs. Placebo effect perhaps but it's faster lol.

Omg my friends 2 week old 32gb n7 cracked his screen today. Went to Asus Malaysia ask and they said the screen will cost 430 for replacement. But they said I could send it to 3rd party shops to repair and the warranty won't be void. Does anyone know anywhere that can replace the screen at a more reasonable price?
Has anyone of you used dsp manager and can it function? I can flash it via twrp but it will fc itself when I enable equaliser.
Has anyone of you used Equalizer app from Play by Smart Android Apps, LLC I couldn't enable the Equalizer and Bass Booster from the app... May I know why did this happen? Previously I was on 4.1 JB unrooted device and it worked.
FYI, I am using rooted 4.2 stock and I did installed beats audio from play market and already uninstalled it
Dsp manager working fine on my ver4.2 stock n all custom ROMs ( cleanrom, modaco)

BUMP for help
For rm430 seriously how much you can save using others? Probably less than a hundred . Is it worth it using other 3rd party Is considered cheap considering other tablets you are looking at rm600+ region

When will the Nexus 7 32GB with 3G be available in the local stores, and roughly how much will it cost?
And one more thing, why the sale price is higher than US retail price?
Nobody knows. But there is AP set selling in garage already. Since Asus provides international warranty (not 100% sure on 3G model though), there is no difference buying local or AP. Can get slightly cheaper from Spore around RM1,200 compared to garage average RM1,300 ready stock.
Need to check if Newegg is bringing in 3G model too and at what price. If only RM200 extra from WiFi version, i might get the 3G version.
