Hi guys, I wanna ask something, does liquipel works?I wanna waterproof my nexus 7 with liquipel for RM249, but I have no balls to try, should I do it?

For me, no. I wouldn't pay 1/3 the cost of my tablet just for a case/coating/whatever. It's not like a car, where spending money on a good tint is justifiable, or not like riding a big bike, where spending money on a good helmet and gear can save your life.

All I do is keep it in a cheap sleeve (around RM10) when I take it out. I wipe the screen maybe once a day with those microfiber cloth you get free from spectacle shops. That's all.

How much RRP for nexus 7 now?

Well. I did try all the above. after that give up and start to factory reset the nexus 7 & root it back. Then only mine is working

I am honestly surprised to see that the Nexus 7's screen almost fully covers the sRGB color gamut. The accuracy is not too shabby as well. It certainly doesn't have the pop of AMOLED displays but i guess that just shows how oversaturated they are?

The Nexus 7 doesn't have 3G or SD/microSD card slots for Sim cards.

If the Nexus 7 is used at a place without wifi, can the tablet be connected to a smartphone that has data plan internet connection via bluetooth so that web surfing can be carried out on the 7" tablet instead of the small 4" touchscreen of most smartphones?

Any insight would be appreciated.

the other smartphone can just open wifi hotspot and let nexus 7 connect..
even u can mod the nexus 7 and connect it with a 3g dongle and u got the 3g connection with nexus7
