Had tested both the XBA-Z5 as well as the A15 last 2 days ago at the launch event in Singapore.  Seriously speaking, the XBA-Z5 is good but the estimated retail pricing was  rclxub.gif
The A15 is typically very Sony sounding  sweat.gif  Seriously, the FiiO X1 sounds better  nod.gif
Anyway, E1 should have them in-store whenever they are available  tongue.gif

Wanted to, but the location and timing sucks... it's gonna be freaking jam after office hours. They should have made it a weekend event. Failed stupidity PR...

Thanks for the link. Oh the XBA A2 is only RM499! I thought it was gonna be a step up from the XBA-H series.
Now I'm wondering if it's actually the new "budget' series.

I have the F886 and notice that it can be occasionally hissy when connected to the charger. But that is when playback is off, didn't notice anything with playback (even in quiter parts).

just tried the ultimate Sony setup in their shop here near 313 somerset:

ZX1 + HPA-3 + Z7

And I am not impressed, Z7 is power hunger cans, I turn the volume knob of HPA-3 to 75% with high gain and don't have 'feel' on this headphone.

A desktop setup is needed for the cans.

However also tested the A15, pretty impressive with it size and sounds, Fiio X1 have a tough competitor here! Who is looking for a pure music player without gaming function and touch screen, look no further.

How would you compare A15 to X1?

Auditioned the Z7 at 313 Somerset, using my AK100II.
As @Ask_Yip mentioned, this is a power hungry can as I almost had to crank the volume knob on my AK to the max.
The sibilance on the demo set is still pronounced, although the treble is a bit rolled-off.
Did not try the ZX1 and HPA-3 combo to power the Z7 as I have no intention of buying both of them

frankly, even the PHA3 doesn't do justice to the Z7 sweat.gif simply put, not enough current nod.gif
