Gotten my A15 thanks to E1 - AKG.

Lasted me a good 40 hours - Flight from Malaysia > London > Grand Cayman. With one bar of battery left. Sweet stuff. Just need to find a suitable case for it now.

I wonder if the Walkman F-series is being discontinued and replaced by the A-series?

Sony Germany still has it listed, but remove the pricing and ability to order online (usually signs of old products).

That's gonna be sad if it true though, because I like the Internet ability and Android and the ZX1 is way above my budget.

I think they are slowly phasing it out, cause here SG last month they gave discount for the 64GB model.

Unfortunately I'm out of the country now! And I just bought one earlier this year so it's a bit early to plan for a replacement!

Anyway, amazon uk and germany has it listed as (discontinued by manufacturer), with the refurbished versions selling around 300 euros.

Is it too much to hope for that they will come up with a new improved version next year?

Yes, I agree that the UI is good, cos it's using Android.

If they are going to introduce a new version that runs Android and have microSD slot, then I don't mind them phasing it out. I just hope Sony is not killing the F series for good.

They did introduce the A series with microSD support, but that one has no Wifi and no Android. So I can't use it for streaming music services. e.g. Spotify.

honestly, the Sony DAP (even using its own non-android custom UI) is excellent. Easy to understand, simple to use, seldom hang, just marvelous.

Yeah, i can see your concern. you're streaming music and that lack of wifi is a hinder.

Hey there.i wanna check with you guys. Irecently returned my xba a3 and got myself a z5. I love it to bits. I had the h3 and then a3 now the z5. I still thinks there could be some improvement. So i figure maybe i can change the cable. I am looking for a tighter bass and better mids. Any recommendation

I am also thinking maybe a custome made cable could do the trick

what is your setup to drive the z5

I have a zx1 which i use sometime. Most of the time i use my samsung note 3 with dragonfly 1.2 or astell and kern ak10.
