600 euro for Z7, 800 euro for the PHA 3AC. But i found it funny that the PHA 3AC does not run on batts and on AC instead (thus its name), does not look so portable friendly to me. The balanced feature with the double 3.5mm looks interesting though.

Good thing the z7 cable is removable and swappable too.

I saw a post on head-fi that mentioned the sony XBA-A series that is listed as "coming soon".

Currently the only place they're listed is on Sony Singapore's website.

Is anyone planning to buy Sony's new Z7 or Z5?
They are having a pre-order promotion, which the price for Z7 and Z5 (RM2,399) includes a free A15 Walkman. If anyone is interested in sharing the deal, i'm willing to buy the A15 part to reduce your cost

The Z5 looks tempting, I was initially aiming for the HBA-X3. But then I thought the over-ear design is a bit uncomfortable with glasses. And honestly, the price of the Z5 is quite out of my range - unless the sound is absolutely mind-blowing.

I'm actually more interested in the pricing for the A2, since it has a HD tweeter like in HBA-X3 but has the typical earphone design.

Btw, Lego Warfare, are you sure 16 GB would be enough for you? Since the device is intended for HI-RES audio, I guess people will mostly load on FLACs. I have the 32gb F886, and i have a mix of FLAC and 320 mp3s (to save space), and I worry that I might not have enough space soon. But at least the F886 comes with Android and Wifi where i use Music Unlimited for streaming, so it works great for me.

Edit: Just checked Sony Malaysia's website, they don't even have the A-series walkman listed yet!

Well it does have a micro sd slot, so it'll give me 144 GB which is still okay. And this will only be my temporary DAP until next year when Geek Wave, FiiO X7 and DX200 comes out

The A15 is typically very Sony sounding Seriously, the FiiO X1 sounds better

Anyway, E1 should have them in-store whenever they are available

Did an A/B with Michael Jackson's Billie Jean on .aiff (.wav) on a microSD ... the X1 offers better details and is airier There seems to be a hint of distortion on the A15 as well

Think the selling point for the A-series was the huge playtime even with High-res music(40hours~) I think?

More interested in the Z7, z5's retail pricing is crazy.

Yeah, the price is Z5 is really high. How much of a step-up is it compared to HBA-X3? Actually now I'm more keen on the A2 since it features the HD tweeter of X3, but the design is not over-ear.
