Used to own one. You can drive it out of a smartphone just fine. It's easy to drive.

As for H3, it was one of the best bass-oriented hybrids of its time. Only problem was the bass can be too great, and it bleeds into the mids. The tweeters make the treble sound very nice though. You can probably find a used H3 for about RM500. Its replacement, the XBA-A3, has a cleaner all-round sound, but still bassy. It's underrated bcos it was overshadowed by the new flagship Z5 at the time.

Sony Centres (at least the one I tried in Ipoh) still sell them for like RM699, which is criminal.

There's a seller in Lazada selling them brand new for RM299. Some more today there's a store-wide 15% discount using the Lazada app.

I bought one for RM254 and free shipping. At this price point I'm not worried about the warranty.

or you may subscribe tidal. i did a critical listening session comparing tidal with spotify premium with michael jackson songs. with my system i cant detect the difference. you should try so too. spotify premium is cheap in malaysia for rm15(or rm10 via maxis) with tidal is rm30( free trial 1 month, have to give them paypal/card no. to get 1 month free trial)
in short? spotify premium + XBA via handphone out is good enough for many people.

I'm currently using tidal, just regular version (non Flac, 320 AAC).
I agree that even with Flac and non-flac on my Walkman, I can't really tell the difference.

I think Spotify is quite hit and miss. I agree some songs can't tell the difference, but some songs are quite obvious. Enrique iglesias Bailamos and few others. AFter listening for a while, usually I get a headache. Rather than risk which song is good or bad, I just avoid it.

Yes. I just checked online that this device has hdmi input port and Output port.
So later, I just need to connect it from my PS4 and then HDMI output to TV?
And do I need to do connect anything to Optical Port (PS4)?

It's sold through the merchant with a year warranty, so I suppose we contact the merchant first.

*EDIT: a reviewer at the Lazada said it's possible to register the product at Sony Malaysia website. So it's likely legit. I bought it bcos it was the cheapest price possible.

Forget about 10RBT... the sound quality not worth the money at all. (still using aptX, and last only 20 hours), and its pretty old version

1ABT on the other hand, got pretty much everything you need, you can try to wait for its promotional price if you are not rushing.

What you need from SONY BT headphones: Battery life + LDAC codec, try to read my other posts on LDAC and comparison between different SONY models.
