Haha. Exactly what I did. At first I was like. Worst case scenario was ask my friend for his sdcard tmrw to transfer the rom then I install on my phone.

Stock rom jb means that stock rom coming from samsung with touchwiz or stock vanilla from google?

Actually im still stuck whether to take this s3 or iphone 5. Do u think s3 will receive key lime pie updates when it rolls out later?

if stock jellybean rom coming from samsung then it comes with touch wiz...if coming from htc then it coming from htc sense. if coming from google itself, then it is stock vanilla flavour. correct me if i'm wrong...

Google never sent stock vanilla firmware to S3. All official firmware comes from Samsung (with Touchwiz UI)
Yes..S3 will get KeyLime Pie as Samsung have obligation with Google to upgrade atleast two firmwares version.
So from ICS > JellyBeans > KeyLime Pie.
After that you can only hope and pray hard for another firmware upgrades.

next update is not keylime pie, next update is jellybeanMR1 or some web called it 4.2+

Not in Malaysia as the header said. Anyway if you wanna find out why don't just click from your phone to check for update..

Doesn't matter as the obligation still stand. Atlleast two version upgrades. That means KeyLime Pie. All minor updates doesn't count

YES!!! finally received my UAG Case and immediately snapped my phone into it.

hi guys, wanna ask.. my s3 is not smooth (lagging) when swipe from one screen to another.. why ar?? just bougth it last week.. didn't root or do any configurations on it.. still belum pecah dara lagi.. can say everything is stock condition, except got arund 2-3 games & 7-8 basic tools & apps like clean master, adobe flashplayer, adobe reader, whatsapp, fb, quickoffice, navitotal, instagram, quickoffice, that's all.. i did compared with my frenz's s3 & note1, both still in stock condition but got lost of stuff on it, but can feel their phone is very smooth when swipe from one screen to another..

one more thing, i checked in my s3 task manager, for RAM usage, it shows max is 779mb only.. is it standard for stock/ standard s3??

I'm also a newbie, but I had experienced lag while swiping TouchWiz pages. Then I only found out some of my Widgets that cause the lag.

Also no harm try to turn OFF the Power Saving feature?

yepp.. it's normal. all phones wont get the exact amount of RAM as per mentioned in the spec.

i never root any of my phones previously. same goes with my S3. still smooth as it was first turned on after the purchase. there might be any of your apps causing the lag when switching the screen. or maybe can try Nova Launcher. smoother than TW, i can say.
