Looks like Sunway Pyramid IMAX hall is getting a upgrade to laser and 12 speakers. Cool I guess but not worth the trip considering the screen size being small. TGV also mentioned Central I-City for IMAX recommendation among the other IMAX Laser locations. Wonder if they're hinting an upgrade there too.

Could be worse, some countries like Thailand the royal anthem is played before movies forcing everyone to stand.
Indonesia tried to get the national anthem played before every movie.

Only problem is why Malaysia films cannot earn there because this CGV is only in big city while its monopoly rivals XXI are more in kampung town and they hardly take foreign titles including our titles

Good
- The main screen is large and the gap between the main screen and side screen is small and will not distract you.
- F1 use the side screen 3/4 of the movie.
- Sound system is very good.
- the seat is very comfy and spacious.
- friendly and welcoming staff.
- just scan the code when you pick up your food. No need to scan it again when you going to the hall. Just show it to the staff.

Bad
- Food and drink selection is meh.
- toilet located at the imax hall. So you have to walk a bit. No such problem if you watch at the imax hall.
- the price is rm100 for 2 is a bit expensive but better than the old price of 130.

Neutral
- The side screen is blurry than the main screen. But i think its to mimic the view of our eye. Our side eye view is blurry compare to the centre.
The side screen is to fill our peripheral vision. After a while you just immerse in the movie.
I think the main screen is just a little bit smaller than lalaport BIG hall.
