QUOTE(antzz @ Nov 1 2013, 11:11 PM) Now that i have few days off from office, thinking to operate another tank. The old 2' tank has been collecting dust in store room for years. This time i wana consider a peaceful enclosure, maybe with few angelfishes and tetras. damn a good looking tank.should be easy to look for it.why not try dwarf cichlids? ![]() ![]() The tank has 2 lamps, one has stopped working. U think i could easily get a replacement for this kind of lamp? |

QUOTE(antzz @ Nov 2 2013, 07:11 AM) Not a bad idea. Do they comm well with angelfishes? i think they should.havent actually came across actual situation but probably worth a try.bluegrass aquatics brought in few species in their last shippingThe reason with angels is that i missed them, esp when feeding time with dried worms. Love the sound when they suck the worms from the water surface, and the way they finished it all till their guts bloated. Lol. |

QUOTE(antzz @ Nov 2 2013, 08:22 PM) Yeah, worth a try. If got problem afterwards, can just put the bully into predator's tank do u practice cycling the tank to promote nitrifying bacteria?i started a small tank at work place and took few litres from my tank at home together with some ceramic rings.turns out good so far all tetras doing wellAbout to finish setting up the mini enclosure, just filled with water this afternoon. All decos n stuff are from garage, nothing new so this project hardly costs any cent. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just put 2 small goldies for test, just in case.
