He's looking healthy and well fed. Wonder how he reacts to direct sunlight. Do they actually bask in it?
Once i sell my bichirs, i think I'm gonna take my pearl and restart cichlids keeping. Leaving behind silver aro in my dad's place cause they like it. |

QUOTE(LuQEE @ Sep 21 2013, 09:03 PM) OFC they are fed Sounds reasonable but for mine i guess quite late too train that kind of feeding schedule lol.later all hungry and become hunger games tank edition.week in acceptable quantities, for breakfast and dinner. I presume you all have known that fish, unlike mammals requires less calories and in the wild, they tend to starve for weeks before the rainy season. Trying to replicate a real amazonian biotope as much as possible. Also, this helps to improve the water quality and less WC routine done in a month, also helps them to stay in shape and fit... Antzz, busy lah. Schedule quite packed nowadays. Cichlid not yet start cause bichirs not yet sell -..-" My silver also swimming low nowadays, scared its gonna chomp off something with that wide mouth |

btw here, swimming haphazardly and acting cute, making my money in wallet anxious. lucky my logic calmed me down and reminds me of my tiny tank |
