He's looking healthy and well fed. Wonder how he reacts to direct sunlight. Do they actually bask in it?

Once i sell my bichirs, i think I'm gonna take my pearl and restart cichlids keeping. Leaving behind silver aro in my dad's place cause they like it.

OFC they are fed  laugh.gif , ive educated my lil bro and my dad, to feed them at least 3 times a
week in acceptable quantities, for breakfast and dinner.
I presume you all have known that fish, unlike mammals requires less calories and in the wild,
they tend to starve for weeks before the rainy season. biggrin.gif
Trying to replicate a real amazonian biotope as much as possible.
Also, this helps to improve the water quality and less WC routine done in a month, also helps them
to stay in shape and fit... brows.gif

*
Sounds reasonable but for mine i guess quite late too train that kind of feeding schedule lol.later all hungry and become hunger games tank edition.

Antzz, busy lah. Schedule quite packed nowadays. Cichlid not yet start cause bichirs not yet sell -..-"

My silver also swimming low nowadays, scared its gonna chomp off something with that wide mouth
