QUOTE(zongeva @ Dec 16 2012, 12:45 PM) wow, that's... one hell of a keyboard Since the layout and input method are totally different compare to conventional keyboard. Time taken to gain back your normal speed will be longer than other Ergo kb like Kinesis, Goldtouch, Maltron and etc.I would like to know how it feels when typing using this keyboard, lol But this keyboard is not about improve typing speed but more comfortable and reduce or prevent RSI. Have a check on Datahand official size. USD995 with international postage cost USD155.. Guess I will continue put it on my dream list. ![]() This post has been edited by mikelanding: Dec 16 2012, 01:14 PM |

thats a cool keyboard
Added on December 16, 2012, 1:57 pm QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Dec 16 2012, 12:04 AM) the keyboard is retailed at USD144.99, after changing 4 default white LEDs to different color LEDs, the price was USD152.99. I think looking at the price, its still pretty alright. The one thing that make it expensive is the shipping. I think about USD66 for the one i selected. However, i missed the Black Friday sale where the keyboard was offered at USD99.00, which is relatively cheaper than some of the other brands. I was looking at ducky Shine 2 DK9008 with cherry mx blue + white LED but decided to get the max keyboard instead. This post has been edited by ma43q: Dec 16 2012, 01:57 PM |

Thanks. 1st, welcome to mechanical keyboard club. 2nd, sadly, razer arctosa is not a mechanical keyboard. You should ask in Gaming Keyboard thread. 3rd, I have a rather bad experience with razer arctosa. one of my friend even sold the board after 3 days using it. 4th, How about join us and try out mechanical keyboards This post has been edited by JohnDiew0107: Dec 17 2012, 02:16 AM |

Yeah, worth the extra bit of juice. I don't see why a non-mech keyboard can cost so much..

Anyway I'm cancelling the arctosa and want get a mechanical keyboard instead. There is no turning back after using mechanical keyboard. Why don't u search in the trade zone in this forum? heavyarm is selling few brands and there are other sellers too. I think the prices quoted by them are pretty reasonable and relatively cheaper then some i came across elsewhere. I played with ducky shine few weeks back and its a pretty solid and well constructed keyboard. I think the ducky shine 2 should be of similar quality if not better. CM storm mech keyboards are well constructed too. |

Can recommend me affordable black switch mechanical keyboard? Thanks Red isn't rare anymore. Go try out every switch, each has a different feel. The Rosewill RK9000 is only RM299, no backlights whatsoever, just a basic looking keyboard. As others have pointed out, Heavy Arm has every switch for you to try out at his shop. |
