Anyone know if there's a place to go test out all the switches?

I'm looking to get a mech keyboard, and read up upon all the types of switches already. Gotta experience the 'touch' before buying...

Can anyone recommend me a keyboard. I'm kinda of a retired gamer, but interested to get a mech keyboard. I'm going to heavyarm's shop to test out the Cherry MX switches.

Currently thinking of the SteelSeries 7G. But if you sifus can recommend me something better (with backlight ), then I will consider getting it.

I found a deal to get the 7G new for only RM400. That's the main reason I was inclined to choose it X.x

I'll be sure to check those out tmr when I go there!

I'll definitely keep that in mind when buying it tomorrow.

And is this Ducky superior in terms of performance to the SS 7G?

I actually kinda like the Razer BW layout and lighting. Not too sure about the switches...

Also Razer BW is quite affordable but the matt finishing 'Stealth' version seems so overpriced..

Went to heavyarm today and bought my Mech Keyboard!


Kinda disspointed that they didn't have the Ducky 9008 G2 PRO. Instead I tried them all and choosed this. Rosewill 9100 BR.

After so much recommendation from the other members, I wanted to at least try it out..

Also that picture above is weird. How does the input work?

Yeah, worth the extra bit of juice. I don't see why a non-mech keyboard can cost so much..

It's really up to personal preference. I got my brown switch mech keyboard 2 days ago. Black seemed to have a little too much resistance for my liking.

I bought a Rosewill 9100BR and I'm already loving it.

I bought it from Heavyarm's store. They have a small selection for you to test from, the switches I mean.

Im interested to get a few keycaps for my new keyboard too! Snap a pic and I'll let you know which one interests me.

Added on December 17, 2012, 11:09 amMX Blue is too noisy. But it has a really interesting feel to it lol. The 'tick' feeling everytime you hit a key. Would have gotten that but it lacks the 'feel' that MX Brown offers.
