between black switch and red switch which one is better?what brand u guys suggest most?budget around 350 - 450.value for money too many thanks

It's really up to personal preference. I got my brown switch mech keyboard 2 days ago. Black seemed to have a little too much resistance for my liking.

I bought a Rosewill 9100BR and I'm already loving it.

I have a red switch Leopold full size mechanical keyboard.
I m planing to sell, because I have alot of keycaps, but the keyboard cannot fit them.
If you do not plan to change around with different keycaps,
you can get this one, It's around 1 year old, but I seldom use it,
because most of the time I m using my Realforce or HHKB,
that board is mainly for me to put on different keycaps that I bought.

and as I plan to get more and more keycaps,
most of the keycaps sets on the market often doesn't have a fitting spacebar for it.

if you are interested, I can take a few photos of it,
it comes with a set of black blank keys that fit perfectly,
and I can even throw in some extra spacebar key made specially for Leopold.

let me know.

I personally like the MX Red very much. Good for both typing and gaming when you get use to the characteristics of the switch.
But then, MX Blue is still my favourite

I bought it from Heavyarm's store. They have a small selection for you to test from, the switches I mean.

Im interested to get a few keycaps for my new keyboard too! Snap a pic and I'll let you know which one interests me.

Added on December 17, 2012, 11:09 amMX Blue is too noisy. But it has a really interesting feel to it lol. The 'tick' feeling everytime you hit a key. Would have gotten that but it lacks the 'feel' that MX Brown offers.

I think Kaysa is only selling the Leopold. One does not part with his keycaps so easily.
If you wanna get some then I would suggest:

Klaxon Red Alert Clone
Vortex Thick PBT Colored keysets
kaiserreich's Vortex Stealth PBT (which I'm using right now).
First 2 only in the GB/IC stages. 3rd link will be shipped around Jan. Kai's one ready stock in Penang (I think).

Haha, the click sound is what I like about MX Blue. Also MX Brown lack the strong tactile feel that MX Blue has. To each his own

i owned BWU keyboard.due to strong blue tactile feel, i planned to change to red or black..so noisy blue.haha

Red and black is totally different feeling.. red is a lot softer than black, black is like typing on steel, which is pretty hard, red on the other hand, has the nick name "cloud of boobs", I'm sure you know what that means.

Logitech G710+ Mechanical Keyboard available in Malaysia? i finding it but can't find it so far.

If a u heavy gamers red n brown wud be a good choice coz they are light. For me, I love brown da most coz it has tactile feel and light press as the red too. But if u typing a lot n play less game blue switch shud be nice. Btw like the other says its really up to you personal preferences so choose wisely

i was informed by Logitech singapore (thru' facebook) that it will be available by February 2013.

So i guessed it might be available in malaysia about the same time or slightly later.

It is available online thru' amazon, bestbuy and some other major online retailers. However, i think it is not worth the amount u r going to pay for the shipping since it a logitech, and sooner or later it is going to be available locally.

I tried cherry brown and black on different brands of keyboard and at the end, i still prefer the feel and sound of the blue. Im currently using the BWU, 1st gen, with blue backlit (my first mech keyboard) and its going to be replaced.

red switch is indeed the "Cloud of boobs" bro. True story
