I am here to
SHARE my experience of the overall process from the Night Job Briefing (First Timer) to Morning Job Briefing (Non-First Timer).
I am invited to attend the job briefing at HRO Vision, Setapak Branch on early January.
I payed

and passed the Life Insurance Exam which took me only 2-3 Days of intensive revision with provided notes & pass year questions (equivalent to dictionary's thickness ) costing RM16.
They collected my:
- Parent IC Number
- 6 Passport Size Photo
- ATM Card Photocopy
- IC Copy
- SPM Certificate
And of course RM336 for the exam.
At first, I was looking for a High Pay Promoter Job just like any other students seeking for extra pocket money. I came across AsiaPartTime and I found a High Pay Promoter Job (RM150/Day). I contacted the PIC (Person-In-Charged) instead and I'm told to attend a compulsory job briefing. In an instance, I thought it was just another Promoter Briefing in some event company. But I guess, I was wrong.
1. When I went there (alone), it seems like the same old MLM-catch whereby everyone is smiling at you in a HYPER friendly way with intention to mock-off your money later on after being able to communicate with you. Their OVER-FRIENDLY attitude scares you , they do treat you like Naive persons unless you are giving off some fierce impression (like me).
2. As observed, majority of them are TARC Students with pure intention to seek for Part Time Job. Previously, I was told that the briefing starts at 7pm, but the briefing starts only at 8pm (To entertain early birds & late comers). Before the job briefing even began, some experienced Part Timers are being HYPER observant and left before the Job Briefing even begins. When they are arranging seats & I'm trying to sit as behind as possible, they'd treat you like a fool & say "those place behind are reserved" kind of stuff.
"Who are you kidding, man ? Those chairs are removable & nobody would have reserved them. "
I was so angry to be treated such way & I was giving them the furious face, so that they would let me sit behind (in order to escape easily).
3. When the Job Briefing begins, videos of compiled photos are are played together with some motivational songs. Eventually, there's a speaker who claimed to be working previously in the Japanese Company came along and give some economics-related speech. The scheme of 1st to 8 Year Saving Plan Scheme is introduced. Later on, they were sharing young successful Agents taking photos with Luxury Cars aged in between 23 yo. Those claimed to be "successful" Agents came to have a usual MLM "I can do it, you can do it too- talk" and share some experience regarding their hard times being a Student & good times being an Agent.
4. Along they way, there are many wet-jokes. Most of them are lame jokes but to be honest, it seems like many fools are being entertained. FYI, they have a strong ARMY lined up behind to create the supportive atmosphere of the entire job briefing & some of the Agents are sitting in between the audience randomly.
5. In the end of the JB, the Agents seemed very busy distributing applications forms, collecting IC & ATM Card to photocopy. They collected harshly from the audience. I asked them repeatedly "WHY" but nobody answered me. The volume was too much that they would have to call up the IC Holder's name one by one to return the IC & ATM Cards.
6. When I did not managed to collect my IC after everyone else did. I went

as they could have stolen my identity for something else & I'm stucked in the crowd. I was raged until the upline would have to search for mine personally at the "Collection Area". The Upline explain repeatedly to me that I can work for another agency once I passed the test, there is nothing to lose. If I fail, it will only cost me RM80 (Original Price) to re-sit.
7. I payed and passed my exam just 2 weeks later and I was required to attend morning job briefing. I thought I would have learn something new, something about the scheme. But, I was there to introduce myself forcefully & waiting everyone to

after my brief intro. They taught mostly about building a good first impression towards the potential clients, other than that, they just briefly went through the Saving Plan that should have be explained to first timers.
We went to eat breakfast at the restaurant next to Plaza Mayang & we talked to each other to showcase our communication skills.
We are assigned to different mentor to be taught of the next step
(RECRUITING)I was very sensitive when it comes to my misusing my contacts. I lost some true friends previously because of this & I wouldn't do this anymore for God's Sake. They was like "Is it too much to ask from you ? To get 8 Person ? You HP contact definitely have more than that, right ?"
I was like "What ? I thought I can deal with customers myself without even recruiting as you said? "
They keep on brainwashing you that "Only
STUPID Businessman would not want to expand their networks & let others work for them."
They keep on asking when we would get the 8 Person, whether we wanted to be smart/stupid. They are HYPER-PUSHY when it comes to recruiting.
The most shocking thing is what the Trainer said:
"If you guys come with EGO, Please leave now. If you want to learn, you gotta let go of your dignity don't try to showcase how smart are you. If you are smart, you wouldn't have came here"
I was gotten into another shock when my mentor says: "You don't have to know much, we will just copy how other people make money and we will make money as well."
I guess this 20 yo Mentor doesn't even know much about the Scheme. Her job was to keep on recruiting & recruiting till she quits.
So, to cut story short. If you think that HRO Vision is selling only financial products to customers and you can do it without recruiting & losing your friends.
You might as well think twice before you even decide to join that company managed by few uneducated youngsters with TOTALLY-WRONG guidance.
This is a company about recruiting-first, sell-next company.
I hope that this help all of you guys in any way.
I do appreciate all forms of feedback.
