I just compare my iPhone 4 and Noe II, comparatively,

iPhone 4 battery suck, I heard same with 5, but nvm, I can use powerbank.
Note II build not elegant and feel like cheap plastic, but nvm, I can choose elegant feel flip cover.

But I am not using a dumb phone, I am using a smart phone and espect my device to perform like a pocketable device yet give me clear view of picture, movie, document etc. Apple refuse to acknowledge the needs of a acceptable screen size and still maintain the skiny skin into year of 2013! With the leak of 5S/6 prototype, I see no near future of wider screen and opt to try Note II.

Unlike other shortcomings, screen size find no complement accessory and replacement is the only choice.

Yes, I spent thousand in apps and reluctant, but what to do with a 2010 screen size? I will living in 2013 soon.
Honestly speaking, no different to me on the smoothness of flip screen or lagness for the two devices I owned. And I choose a custom launcher I like and I feel the satisfaction. I don't jail break or root.

Yes, like Windows, as Android occupied almost the entire os usage, it attract malware and I need disciplne as to precaution and prevention.

I choose Iphone 5 cause of the Ecosystem...

I have a macbook pro which is connected to icloud and I have a iPad mini which is connected too so it is norm I get a iPhone to complete the experience

Added on December 21, 2012, 10:07 pmmy next purchase will be a AppleTV

but if you have android as your eco-system it is norm for you to buy android devices like if you have a Android Pad then you will op for android phone to complete the google experience...

for me it is the overall package... once you complete you will have a complete different experience

I own both note 2 and iPhone 5 now, iPhone for myself and note 2 for wifey. No doubt that iPhone 5 is light, my personal pick goes to Note 2 as iPhone looks like toy phone to me as note 2 wins hands down on features and innovation. Battery of Note 2 can last really long and multitask makes easy with bigger screen.

No flame please. It's just my personal take. One man's meat is another man's poison. Lol

Same as you, I have both devices on hand. Strangely enough, as I am typing this, my Note 2 has again refused the latest OTA update because, in their words -

"Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available."

No, haven't rooted the phone, haven't turned on developer access yada yada yada. To be honest, this is an ongoing issue with Samsung Android phones. The majority of those coming into Samsung's service center will be greeted with the standard "Your software got problem, we ref lash - you lost data one."

At least, that is my experience in Seremban. Few galaxy aces/ace pluses, one w, two y, few of tab2 plus (government screaming bloody murder on this one).

Stability wise, I'd still give points to iOS. Unless someone can explain how my note 2 got modified.

My suspicions also goes to that. I am going to hate trying to figure out what is going on with that unit.

Bigger battery capacity...nothing beats Motorola razr maxx👍...FYI I am still using my 3GS, 4, 4s and 5😱

Razr maxx- work phone
3GS , 4 and 4s - apple online game Race or Die2, crusades and jet fighters
5- personal line and apple games as well lol

😜😜😜

Like what was previously mentioned by a forumer...it's the complete experience that you get with apple products and the simplicity and ease of use of the iOS as compared to android.

But yesterday my friend who has Note 2 kinda impressed another who's hesitating between Note 2 and Iphone 5. I looked at the things he did with his Note 2 and boy, was I impressed...he used his stylus and dragged this and dragged that and the multi-screen thingy was kinda cool. I love my iphone 5 but with all those problem about battery drainage, scuff and bending, I didn't dare recommend the other friend.

I've still owned note 1 and I can tell what note 2 can do now is just gimmick and can be done on note 1

Using now with xxlsc rom and most that note 2 advertise can use on their so called premium suite can be done on the original note

U will be impressed for newcomer but after 6 months or so the pen will only remain in the note only

That what's happen to me.. Much of the advertised features are not even utilized at all.. Most will go to root and use aosp or aokp to get the latest nightly builds

I rather stay with iOS as I don't need to improve the os as what has happen to my note now.. Still lags and not even smooth even with cs or leaked roms

My experience and 2 cents

I couldn't agree more with you. Before I jump into the iOS bandwagon, I owned countless smartphones since before iPhone or Android Phone even exist. I've been hacking all my devices with countless ROMs. Now I don't even bother to get deep into these time-wasting processes anymore, after I've owned my first iOS device. And I'm very happy with it and I have more time doing something more beneficial than having to keep myself up to date with the device that is supposed to help me ease my work and leisure. Sorry, Samsung is doing their best, but it'll never be like iPhone no matter how hard they try. Cause they don't design their own proprietary OS. Why are smartphones these days kept comparing with iPhone? You do the math wink.gif

Part of this I believe is because Android is open source so it is used in many many many devices. From low end Galaxy Europa to high end Galaxy SIII. Thing about Android is anyone can own one because the price range is quite vast. Maybe not the full 'Android' experience because the low end ones normally sport the older versions like Eclair but still an Android smartphone.

For me I prefer my iPhone 5 because I'm so used to using iOS after spending 2 1/2 years with my 3gs. I think Samsung should stop making screens bigger and bigger because it doesn't seem very ergonomic to me. I think the Lumia and iPhone 5 designs are much nicer compared to the SIII. However I prefer an Android tablet like the Nexus 7 compared to the iPad Mini. If I had to go Android, I'd get a Nexus device. Those look really nice to me.
