Hi thr,
I just got back Japan, still have some JP Yen on hand. I am willing to let them go at a lower market rate.

Reason:
If I exchange them with the money changer again, the rate will be much lower.
If I sell them to you, you get to buy at a lower market rate,
I get to sell at a higher market rate. Mutual benefit no? smile.gif

Japanese Yen on hand : 70,000+ JP Yen. (roughly RM3k + )

Please call 0192775725/0123265125 Syrene

NOTE: Only for serious buyers. Thanks .

Hey guys need some advice
i just changed my money earlier today at Money Master in MidValley..
i changed to HKD, and the smallest note that i get is HKD500..the rest is HKD 1000...
if i want to buy small stuff that cost me HKD10/20/50 where can i change the note to smaller one?
Money changer didn't keep small notes?

this is my 1st individual overseas trip..

No issues.... most vendors in HK have sufficient change for your HKD500/1000 notes

don worry, not many things cost less then HKD20, unless you buying junk food like egg waffle / curry fishball smile.gif
even then, you will spend quite a lot at the stall tongue.gif

my situation same like yours, holding all HKD500 / 1000...
give the big note when you buying octopus card, entrance ticket, shopping complex, meals like HKD200-300, give HKD1000 then.. you will have many small note by then... that's what i did...

when i buying things at ladies market, they will ask for smaller note, if you say don't have, they will keep mumbling while finding change back rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Yes, no worries. First thing at airport, just use that HKD1000 to buy either:
1) Airport express / octopus card (HKD180-300 return)
2) Taxi into kowloon/central (expect HKD350-500 one way)
3) Bus - don't know, long time never take.

Then, goto 7-11/watsons/mannings buy stuff, give HKD500 to exchange to smaller.

Giving HKD500 to vendor, is like our RM50 give to pay things here only. Some will eye you, some not.

Therefore, eating HKD35-45 for normal chicken/roast pork rice, is like eating RM4-5 same rice here, portion bigger only sweat.gif

Don't convert when eating whistling.gif

Yes, money changer don't take small notes and not to worry because at Hong Kong, you will only eat HKD 40-60 for meal... First thing you need to do is once reach Hong Kong, take the HKD 1000 to pay for your Airport Express or taxi but sometimes taxi will scold if you give too big notes.... Then again use big notes to pay for your entrance ticket... Then shopping at complex then use your big notes and you will start to have small notes.... If you really want small notes, I can change some for you since I having lots of small notes
