Hey guys need some advice
i just changed my money earlier today at Money Master in MidValley..
i changed to HKD, and the smallest note that i get is HKD500..the rest is HKD 1000...
if i want to buy small stuff that cost me HKD10/20/50 where can i change the note to smaller one?
Money changer didn't keep small notes?

this is my 1st individual overseas trip..

based you guys experience, what is the best CC to travel in japan? i'm planning to pay all my hotels and transportation using CC if the rates are better than money exchanger. plus, i dont need to carry so much cash

Will be there 7 days. But i just got ticket. I know nothing about it. Should i get  a tour agency? If yes, please recomend me. By the way, how much money (in RM) i should change in advance?

Sorry for asking a noob question here. I'm not good in currency exchange thingy.
I saw NTD rate few days ago: NT100 = RM10.80.
My colleague want me to buy Longchamp bag for her at Taipei 101. She didn't tell me how much the bag yet, but she say will give me RM first.
Assuming the bag is NT4000 and the rate remain at 10.80, should I ask her to pay me RM370?

Guys i will be going HONG KONG soon where shud i exchange currency? In HK better rate or MY better rate?

Is it the conversation rate at Maybank Midvalley same with those money changer beside the escalator?

I just came back from a working trip to Taipei earlier this week. I didn't bring enough & had to withdraw from my Maybank account at a local ATM there. And I was quite surprised with the differences of exchange rate.

Comparing with withdrawing from ATM at your destination country, for every MYR1000 that I change here in KL, I had to pay an extra of MYR49. This is after taking into account the fee imposed by your bank for making withdrawal at a foreign countries ATM, which in Maybank case is MYR12 per transaction. 

edit: forgot to mention that I've checked the differences in currency rate (TT or electronic rate in this matte) of the date as well.

If you're planning to bring a lot, I suggest you activate your ATM card to allow withdrawal from a foreign country to save some fee there.

Exchanging HKD...

Malaysia currency makes me so speechless now... I'm going to South Korea for travel soon in September, need some guidance on where can i get the best exchange rate over here in Malaysia. BNM rate for now is RM1 to 334KRW but as i checked most money changers over here in Malaysia only sells KRW for a rate of abour RM1 to 320KRW ups and downs. Hope i can get some tips here where can i get better exchange rate for korean won. I even survey the exchange bank over there in Korea (Hana Bank, KEB) is it better to change here or change there???

Any idea on changing MYR to USD? Need to use it on dec. Would you change now or later on? Would appreciate if someone could advise.
