yeah man, completely wipe out the purpose of Oculus. May be lizzard will make a new leg power for it.

Yeah, anyway i'm not really a teleport fan

I rather use Black Hole - Event Horizon + Frost Nova - Cold Snap. I'm aiming at least 60% cooldown. Currently sitting at 51% ++, which i think its pretty okay and able to rift easily and help my teammates.

I notice wizard mostly doing support in group play... (electro stun or freeze) only solo can go for fire build.

depends on how they set the dmg increase overtime of channeling. if they do it like decrease the initial dmg then slowly restore it to previous dmg when channeling then GG. if they do it like start from normal dmg then increase overtime then still acceptable.

that teleport stick is like a slap in the face imo.. its like they are thinking "ohh so wiz cant contribute shits in group fight and die like shits. So lets help them run away by adding this stupid stick instead of any meaningful toughness buff"

Yup, its possible to become tanker but its best to have Wand of Woh + high cool down.

For me, it's okay to become support as long as you can reap your rewards: XP + Legendaries. Plus the gap between single player and multiplayer gameplays hasn't been narrowed.

Event horizon is uber important in T6. I save alot of crusader, monk and barbarian's ass thanks to Event Horizon. Hisap hisap most of the affixes. Thunderstorm abit hard especially against Demon Hunter. Normally those thunderstorm, one-two time BZZZZ the demon hunter, hangus and goreng-ed immediately. Felt sorry for the DH unless its Frozen Pulze which i can suck it.

Decided to swap Time Wrap to Frost Nova. I used to think time time wrap can be used to slow the electric bolt from Electrified mobs, mana tahu.........those melee players always gatai gatai go walk around those 'slow' bolts hence died terus. I straight away insaf liao -.-

yeah toughness is another issue but very likely wizard will not get their toughness a massive boost since their skills such as black hole, time wrap, teleport, frost nova 'complements' toughness.

The wand is pretty unnecessary lol. Hopefully, they will think of something else such as reducing the cooldown of Meteor - Molten Impact. Now that's a game changer.

I still feel sad for the 2-H staff categories in general.

those survival skill like black hole etc have cd, it is not so efficient when the mob is all over the places.. maybe the developer should just make teleport no cd but with more arcane power.. like D2, just awesome!!!

It's quite efficient given your CD is more than 50%. Sweet spot is 60% if im not mistaken. That's why, my back up will be Frost Nova - Cold Snap.

Actually if mob all over the place, not much you can do as a wizard unless you have 2 hand staff - smoldering core. Even then, meet those illusionists pricks...its still another headache -.- especially at tight area. Plus, i dont see any wizard loves to hold 2-H staff.

The twister build bro. I cant wait to use it until i got a few items and paragon points due to the lack in aspd and cost reduction. I'm waiting to use it once 2.1 patch released.

Skill Rune - Conflagrate
Has been redesigned
Magic Missile pierces through enemies and causes them to burn for 130% weapon damage over 3 seconds
Burn damage stacks up to 3 times and any Fire damage you deal to burning enemies refreshes all stacks to their maximum duration

Anyway wanna ask those electro-stun god out there: Is the energy twister: Storm Chaser gooding? Never try this build and I see the weapon dmg increase to 1525% in 2.1.

(and the new firebird set will able to PWN the boss/ big monster!!!)

to me both fire and lighting wizard win big time. Fire wizard will became giant walking flame thrower canon. While lighting wizard will make the whole screen filled with blue color bolt + long long dmg number.

Better hunt the RoRG. Follow the steps like the one posted in this section. It works for me.

Actually, once u get those set items, u keep it. As long as u find one with better stats, you salvaged the lousy ones.



Now imagine this

Firebird Gloves + shoulders + Helm+ Pants + Legs

Actually my plan is to wear 5 pieces of fire bird except chest, because I wanna utilize the Cindercoat's fire dmg... (but to get good stat of firebird is not easy, also scrap away my chance to have 2 pieces of Vry's for the +500 INT)

Also, Using mirror ball + WOW, which one will be your main attack, MM or explosive blast?

Dont scrap Vyr at this moment. Yup, that's why im not using firebird chest for Cindercoat.

Basically i will break it down ( my preference ) based on standard keyboard clicks.

1 = Black Hole (Event Horizon)

2 = Frost Nova (Cold Snap)

3 = Explosive Blast (Chain Reaction)

4 = Magic Weapon (Deflection)


Left click = Magic Missiles (Conflagarate)

Right Click = Storm Armor (Shocking Aspects) *testing*

3 Main Attacks + 3 defensive skillz = Balance for me.

Profit?!!


I'm only afraid of one thang.....How this set will work in Greater Rifts. Hmmm.

i read in higher Grift the dmg u receive move closer and closer to 1hit kill for everything so WoW is actually more and more dangerous as u go higher. will see how it goes..

i have a set of firebird in stash also, only missing a wow, tri-facta fire amulet and fire-soj. i think in 2.1 i will still stick to ice build.

look at the azurewrath my templar is currently using.. smile.gif i think the free socket in 2.1 will make that thing become pretty beast.:

Yeah, that's my concern for Greater Rift for that build despite the massive damage.

Yup, Azurewrath benefits alot from Ramalundi gift.

The damage and channeling damage seems great as well. No qualms.

By using the Ramalundi Gift, does it sacrifice one of your affix, or just add onto it?
