No, best end game is WoW + 2 mirrorballs bro. Thats a fire build. Archon can only match up to it if there are huge chunks of mobs present with the elites. Archons have 30s(maybe) downtime which makes u feel vulnerable but not for WoW users.

Your ammy is wat i wanted but i didnt get T_T.
Maybe you can start to hunt Ring of royal and get some set effect by crafting parts
It would be better your chest have 3 socket.
The most important things to me for wizz i think is ammy and 1H weapon.
Others parts of equipment can be crafted easily and fine tune.

after getting mirrorball yesterday i can definitely say that fire / frost spec will be used for higher torments, archon arcane spec seems very lacking especially when archon is on cd it takes very long to kill elites.

melee wiz really fun with wow build ..

and i think i got a good cosmic source (teleport will gain the wormhole effect) for my build, can keep on tele and stun so many mobs, and i am always leading the party .. until my pc speed cant cope with it ><

Besides, i am now using meteor (quite effective as my cd is fast and i got plenty of arcane to spam) as my LMB until i find cindercoat and magefist

but sometimes still easy to die if facing strong elite in T3 ...

Told u guys archon has potential. That dude has tal + vyr with roughly 20s archon downtime. Not even aughild's set.

Dont be deceived by the paper dps/toughness. Archon dps comes from destroying whites (usually those big round giants that swarms tens of worms/sluts). Can easily get up to 40+ stacks in rift. Toughness comes frm in-game AR/armor + archon ar/armor buff. So dont give up on archon if u have ur archon sets in ur stash. It just need some fine tuning and you are good to go.

frankly timing rift runs are a bit pointless, as the maps are all random layout density and mob type.

but yes i do see the potential of tal + vyr archon set. think archon will become very popular later:
1. after they fix vyr bug and
2. more ppl have vyr sets.

dunno if its just me, feeling vyr is very rare compare firebird n tal

Yeah ppl will always talk about their best performance only. But ofc all the other builds will also only talk about their best performance. You cant get the perfect comparison as archon excels in large quantities of mobs where as other builds might not. Can only conpare the best performances of each build. You cant do ghom test bcos they have diff play styles as well. Anyway, i got 2 vyr + 3 tals now. All from rifts t1-t4. True it is hard to find em but i bet my nut WoW is even rarer

Good for u mate. AT is quite popular for high torments. I see ur still using many legacies. Dont want a change? ilvl70 source can roll AT dmg + high main stats. Your billion worth tasker and ice climber still beat any 70 items in terms of mitigation.

Solo t5 became effortless after using TR set for its 3piece bonus and casting EB at ~43% cooldown reduction. Elemental Exposure has been underrated by many however do give it a try and it works for me.

As long as can robbed the treasure goblin successfully that means damage dealt is sufficient for the Torment difficulty.

There're 3 legacy items left and I hope to find a triumvirate or perhaps, craft a cosmic strand to replace the offhand source eventually whereas the Vyr's set can convince me to replace both of the legacy T&T and Ice Climbers without hesitation.

By the way, thanks for highlighting WoW as the endgame weapon for wizards and as a result, I've incorporated Explosive Blasts into my build and am simply impressed by its performance.
