I got 439k EHP but only about 45k DPS...lol

100k DPS unbuff???

Nice set up..good tanking monk. Dunno what you want to upgrade..more DPS..then I will advise of getting more CC. The Nats ring is pretty weak..low dex, no crit or average damage. Get one with average damage at least..as that will boost your DPS since your weapons are sub 1k.

Other than that, the gloves also can be upgraded...a trifecta will improve DPS. The Vile Ward can get better..as dex pretty low for that. Get 1 with 200 Dex, Some vit and single res..should be about 10M, then you can drop some AR and Vit from others and get CC/ Dex.

I wonder what's your Elemental Resistance? Also, LS is better than LoH? How far have you gone with that character of yours? Can you farm in MP10?

This is my build, but i need to know what can i do to increase the damage?

I am sitting at 103k DPS unbuff with a WKL off hand, with 2.9 LS and 1.2k LoH, 35k Vit, 560 AR 5k Armor. I cant see your build.. and I dont know how to link my profile here..

Just a quick answer to your Q. LS is better than LoH once you reach end game. IMHO once you past 70k DPS unbuff treshold, LS will scale better compared with LoH. But if use FoT, LoH actually returns tremedous gains in life as FoT hits 3 times (2x, 2x and last hit) and procs 75% for first 4 hits and 35% on last hit. Hence eg if you have 1000 loH, you actually get 1.5k +1.5k + 350 =3.35k for one cycle of FoT. In comparison, assuming you deal 100k damage, with 3% LS, you gain 0.2x3%x100k =1.2k per hit (as Fot hit 2x), hence you can see the major difference once you reach high DPS. Plus LS will benefit from SW , where 40% damage dealt x 0.2x3% returns and AOE as well. That is why I chose to have both. LS and LoH. LPSS is also good but you need to stack it to 180 to replace either LS or LoH efficiently.

To answer you second question, I can farm with optimal and minimal deaths at MP7, max at MP9 solo..dont really go MP10 as it really slow and not efficient as 100k DPS is not enough, you probably need 150k DPS to farm MP10 efficiently. Its hard for me to upgrade as I want to keep my WKL which is only 930DPS, and I really hate using a EF. Also, cant really drop more AR as at 560..things do get hairy sometimes especially with molten+reflects+electricfied....

Nice build! Amazing Hirefire ring! You should be doing fine even in MP10. But do consider changing Hard Target to MoC. Your friends will appreciate it.

But if you want to upgrade... DONT.

Not at the moment... coz you stack too much Physical resist, not enough All Resist. Rumurs about patch 1.07 (around the conner, may be next month), Bliz will work on Monk. After 2 times warning (1.04, 1.05) OWE may finally get nerf. No, I am not looking at 80% nerf. Bliz don't normally change anything unless it is absolutely necessary and the changes are often not small. OK, some argue that may be there won't be nerf. Well, your guess is as good as mine. Until then, I rather save my gold for something else.

or get a IMBA loot to make you rich first.

- min 400 resist, 4000 armor
- min 25k HP
- god-like in MP2 and below
- stack resist!
- gear with no resist? weapon with no LoH/LS? no problem.
- estimated cost (5mil or lower (no basis))

Tanky Build
- higher defense for mp8 and above
- party friendly
- MoC friendly
- stack all double defense (1 resist+all resist)
- aim for armor too
- 6xx DPS weapon with vit, LoH, LS? grap it!
- can even use Keen Eye for 50% armor boost
- estimated cost (5mil or lower (again, just estimation))

Mix and match gear both build for any MP in between...

Too low? Think can achieved by:

1) Tal Rasha's Relentless Pursuit (8% IAS) - < 1mil
2) Andariel's Visage (8% IAS + 4.5 CC) - < 1mil
3) Inna's Favor (8% holy damage) < 1mil
4) 1k weapon with socket *2 < 1mil
5. Glove with no vit, no resist but high dex, > 8 CC, plus the rest ~ 1mil

As you mentioned ...how to stack dex? 1,2 and 3 low dex..

You need to max dex from boots and gloves..which limits your gloves to NO CD/ASI if you chose CC,

does mantra of conviction add dmg for other class ? if it does , how many % ==

it debuffs the mobs to receive additional dmg so indirectly u're dealing more damage to them.

48percent for the first 3 seconds and 24percent for the remaining.

when activated with overawe enemies near the monk with the mantra will take 48% more damage. Not activated it will be 24% with overawe

How about 5mil + whatever gear you already using?

I just check AH, I think it is DEFINITELY do-able.

ja! i really think can be done. can you share your profile to me? you will be an excellent candidate for this little experiment since you have 439k EHP but only about 45k DPS.

I will try search for some AH item to boost your DPS to 80k and use http://d3up.com to simulate the result and calculate the cost. I have a feeling that it will be way less than 5mil.
