Anyone using found any protector to cover thee camera metal part? I already found scratches on it.

Where r u located? i found a very good cover at my store can protect my 808 very well. They sell a lot of Nokia cover, not like those normal store only sell samseng case & ipon case...

I'm in Melaka. But no problem making a trip to KL. currently using capdase like soft cover. Camera is fully exposed.

like this. Fit in very nicely. I don't think I can find any cover in Melaka Lala shop. Nokia also no more stock for the original cover.Left tripod holder without the tripod stand for RM80.

Anyone using 'belle extra button' ? Works very well for me.now I can have on screen lock screen button. Multitasking button and swipe gesture for selected action. Ie changing profile.

i bought ori nokia case at lowyat plaza...love it very much..as it cover all (except scree )

RM80 for that ori tripod? Can ask Nokia to keep it for themselves forever la

I used it before but took it off later. White just felt better naked. I have no problem dropping a Nokia phone, compared to my Note2. Anyway, I did drop my 808 once onto tar road. Kinda regret I took off the cover few days before The incident happened, but thanks to it, I now felt okay with using it naked even more.

Top right corner has some tiny mark probably due to hitting sands and tiny stones. The most noticeable is the chipped area where the hole of back cover meet the metallic camera cover. A small crater would be a proper word to describe it. And lastly, some scratches to the metallic camera cover.

It really didnt feel that bad when you drop a sub 1k phone especially when the maker seem like giving up on software updates.

Bad things always happen few days after one took off their cover. Applies to my N9 aswell. The dent is so serious i have to sold it off because of that. I can't stand scratches and dent on my phone. Shouldn't have cared so much for a phone but just couldn't help. So no more naked.

Software wise, other than the slightly outdated look of the OS, the functionality (bar the apps) is still very good for me. Since im a light user with my heavy usage relying on tablet, everything i need on a phone works well on my 808. So ya no complaints from me on software side. Update or not, if im already satisfied with what the software has to offer, any updates will be just another bonus.

p/s: My night photos still looks like crap. Its not even decent. Nothing to do with the camera quality i know.

Exactly. I was quite skeptical when a female salesperson approached me. But she actually knew of this phone and were able to introduce me to the accessories.

Btw, no matter how many times i enter this Nokia store in Melaka Aeon, there will not be more than 2 customers.

Worse than this still. The impact area is on the bottom right corner. Dents and cracks plus inner part also kemek abit. Somehow the polycarbonate on lumia phones are prone to dent once dropped.

I used to throw the N9 Nokia loaned to me without much problem. Even slamming it hard on table also fine. Another friend also demo the same action and no damage, although he was unlucky as one side of the screen fell out but can be repair with a visit to service center.

Seems like you have extreme luck with your N9. I have my paints peel off, permanennt dirt cause by the original rubber cover and charging cover broken.

Btw, I think I will be buying this tripod. My brother introduce to me and found some 808 users bought it as well. looks very solid albeit a little bit difficult to bring around.

Yea it does look solid tho, but not as portable as it is. The original tripod holder is way too expensive. We really dun have much choice tho.

Not sure with physical shop. But stock is really limited at the moment. Last month they were still sellers here selling around RM930 - RM950.

Thanks for the picture! It actually looks quite similar to mine. But the corner covering the metal part of the camera with your cover is raised higher than mine.

That actually makes a big difference. It has zero scratch when I accidentally drop on the TAR road previously.
