Gotten my phone few days back. So far very pleased with what the phone has to offer.

Impressive camera performance goes without saying. But for a beginner/ casual users the pictures still turns out very nice. Not for night picture though. sad.gif

Screen! One of my biggest worry. But its better than expected.

And everything else im pleased with. Just that Symbian belle really look a little bit outdated.

Anyone can introduce themes or tweaks that can 'modernise' the UI? rclxms.gif

modernise no, but theme changing yes. You can get decent of themes for free in the Nokia store

808 is definitely underrated people just don't know bout it.

No, people who work on Nokia didn't even know the phone exist! whistling.gif

Ya I downloaded a lot of themes from the store. Like the good old days with N series phone.

There are sellers here selling tripod at only RM16, with an adjustable clamp so 808 should be able to fit in.

Btw, sometimes I have problem unlocking the phone with the sliding button. sweat.gif is it durable in long term usage? I downloaded a software which allows double tap to wake screen up but apparently it's not working.

I'm going to ask Nokia store in Melaka bout the original cover later. Lets see if they know what phone is this. brows.gif

tripodBut the tripod looks lighter than the phone itself. sweat.gif

What I mean is the physical sliding button on the side. Many times I slide it the screen shows flashes but remains unlocked. pressing home button to unlock sometimes no response aswell.

If you want the sliding button to last, then use it with care. Mine dont have any problem but the one on my E6 did get malfunction after few months. I used to slide it with my nail and then let go which cause it to snap back like spring. Apparently it didnt go well the the switch and causing problem later on.

Ya. N9 was a boss. Too bad wazzap is a little bit too unstable.

I did not realize this before. But tapping on the top right Hans corner (Position of the clock) actually lock the screen for us.

yea, talk about maps. Nokia maps is way better than any map apps at other device... Offline navigation and satellite locking is fast, especially on MeeGo device.
