Which means can I set the setting at auto and take a picture without technique but still will get a better than average picture quality?
Thanks. And btw Symbian doesn't bother me. I only need whatsapp.
Thanks first.

Pardon me for asking this, but how would the quality of PVC 808 picture be if the picture was taken by an amateur noob?

QUOTE(peter32 @ Jul 24 2013, 08:21 PM) Most of the time the images will be just as good. Unless you fell in an unfortunate situation where backlighting set in, tricky reflection, and long exposure required for an unsteady hand. Glad to hear this. Btw i really do have a pair of very unsteady hand. PV808 can also be used as a simple point and shoot. |

Any white colour users can verify whether white colour is prone to dirt after usage?
Was going to buy a second hand unit before someone paid before me. Anyone wanting to sell your unit? |

Gotten my phone few days back. So far very pleased with what the phone has to offer.
Impressive camera performance goes without saying. But for a beginner/ casual users the pictures still turns out very nice. Not for night picture though. Screen! One of my biggest worry. But its better than expected. And everything else im pleased with. Just that Symbian belle really look a little bit outdated. Anyone can introduce themes or tweaks that can 'modernise' the UI? |

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Aug 15 2013, 09:27 AM) Ya I downloaded a lot of themes from the store. Like the good old days with N series phone. There are sellers here selling tripod at only RM16, with an adjustable clamp so 808 should be able to fit in. Btw, sometimes I have problem unlocking the phone with the sliding button. I'm going to ask Nokia store in Melaka bout the original cover later. Lets see if they know what phone is this. |

U know la, Nokia ma tripodBut the tripod looks lighter than the phone itself. I also use sliding button, i dun think will have any issue, this is not iphone... *cough cough* What I mean is the physical sliding button on the side. Many times I slide it the screen shows flashes but remains unlocked. pressing home button to unlock sometimes no response aswell. This post has been edited by chaukeng: Aug 15 2013, 11:01 PM |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Aug 15 2013, 12:36 PM) If you want the sliding button to last, then use it with care. Mine dont have any problem but the one on my E6 did get malfunction after few months. I used to slide it with my nail and then let go which cause it to snap back like spring. Apparently it didnt go well the the switch and causing problem later on. Ya. Now I realize the few times that it is actually not functioning is when I let it snap back. kinda enjoy the sound. anyone using double tap to wake? |

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Aug 16 2013, 04:57 PM) like this. Fit in very nicely. I don't think I can find any cover in Melaka Lala shop. Nokia also no more stock for the original cover.Left tripod holder without the tripod stand for RM80. Anyone using 'belle extra button' ? Works very well for me.now I can have on screen lock screen button. Multitasking button and swipe gesture for selected action. Ie changing profile. QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Aug 17 2013, 01:17 AM) I used it before but took it off later. White just felt better naked. I have no problem dropping a Nokia phone, compared to my Note2. Anyway, I did drop my 808 once onto tar road. Kinda regret I took off the cover few days before The incident happened, but thanks to it, I now felt okay with using it naked even more. Bad things always happen few days after one took off their cover. Top right corner has some tiny mark probably due to hitting sands and tiny stones. The most noticeable is the chipped area where the hole of back cover meet the metallic camera cover. A small crater would be a proper word to describe it. And lastly, some scratches to the metallic camera cover. It really didnt feel that bad when you drop a sub 1k phone especially when the maker seem like giving up on software updates. Software wise, other than the slightly outdated look of the OS, the functionality (bar the apps) is still very good for me. Since im a light user with my heavy usage relying on tablet, everything i need on a phone works well on my 808. So ya no complaints from me on software side. Update or not, if im already satisfied with what the software has to offer, any updates will be just another bonus. p/s: My night photos still looks like crap. Its not even decent. Nothing to do with the camera quality i know. |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Aug 17 2013, 03:33 PM) I used to throw the N9 Nokia loaned to me without much problem. Even slamming it hard on table also fine. Another friend also demo the same action and no damage, although he was unlucky as one side of the screen fell out but can be repair with a visit to service center. Seems like you have extreme luck with your N9. I have my paints peel off, permanennt dirt cause by the original rubber cover and charging cover broken.Btw, I think I will be buying this tripod. My brother introduce to me and found some 808 users bought it as well. looks very solid albeit a little bit difficult to bring around. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2437018&hl= |

QUOTE(mjy1984 @ Aug 31 2013, 07:25 PM) Hi guys. Can anyone help me here just for a bit? Just a question for Whatsapp on the Pureview. I've read that my chat history can send out via email under the Chat History. But somehow, for my case, I've only Send via Bluetooth option available. There's no option for me to Send via Email. Menu>Settings>General>Send chat history (Send via E-mail or Bluetooth>Press> (Only get selection of 'via bluetooth') Is my version of Whatsapp somehow bugged? Or is it just Whatsapp for Symbian to be this way? I really really would love to send a copy of my chat history to my email. Thanks a lot in advance for the help! Btw, my Whatsapp version is 2.11.75 Is yours similar to mine? Btw im on the same version as yours and there's a newer version on 2.11.80. Maybe you can try to update and see how? |
