Anyhow, i still love the lowlight and indoor shot for 808, better than any phone out there, very minimal noise. But u need steady hand lar.

Talk about natural color, 808 really did a very good job, not like other using post processing to boost the image.
Yup, even have noise, is not really big issue unless you want to view 1:1 or do heavy crop. For normal viewing, it's better than any other cameraphone, even digital camera. Plus, the noise is also there to maintain the details.
For those who are really particular about noise, can apply different type Noise Reduction via software, but this will in return causes the image to loose details. More strong noise reduction may make the image look like water color or painting.
The point is, if by default the camera apply strong noise reduction, then you can not get back the details again. But, if by default it is minimal noise reduction, you can choose to apply additional noise reduction.
Nokia should have just provide "noise reduction" option in the menu, so those users who lazy to edit, or prefer to apply more noise reduction by default can choose the option.

Yup, once it's processed, it's like cooked meat, you can't un-cook it. But if it's mild-ly cook meat, you can further cook it to your taste... or add your own flavorings.
OR, another way to put it for color, imagine your coffee, you prefer it no-sugar, or 1 spoon of sugar or more, etc.
A mildly process image is always better.
But these is already color-options provided in 808. User can choose other color-profiles to get those more vivid looks, even there is saturation boost, perhaps it should also provide vibrance control.
Anyway, the point for 1020 is, they should provide options for natural color or minimal processing like 808.

Apparently one recent article mentioned that this 1020 will have higher colour saturation than the pv808, its partly due to the fact that the strong advocate for natural coloration guy- Damian Dinning, left Nokia and has no say in pushing for natural tone as default.
So prepare for colour boost in the 1020.
They can boost for default profile if they want, but they should provide options for natural color or minimal processing like 808.
Wonder why they didn't think of this but answer the questions like users have no choice but to accept what their research findings.
