How's the price in RMAH?

Just want to ask one question. If someone decided to leave the game, why they want to sell the item for the gold? Afterall the gold is in-game currency and not actual money so they cant bring the gold to their pocket once they quit?

Sorry for this noob question but just wondering why...

sell gem/gem+item for gold
and then sell gold at rmah

is just silly.. so much loss

one could sell at rmah cheap then someone else buy gems there to sell for gold.... and cycle it but it makes no sense unless even after 15% fee theres profit still.

inflation or supply and demand or not, there has to be some foul play earlier on causing an overabundance of of gems.

is it 9.6m for the largest emerald now? Or i'm seeing it wrongly?

As for Asia server, I'm not sure since I don't play there. It could be any reason like duping; gold farmers (more gold = more gems created = market crashed where too much supply, too little demand [ASSUMING the server is flooded with bot]); or any other reasons.

For the second point, it really depends on individual.

If a person truly wants to quit, I doubt he'll care how much it'll be sold for, as long as it can be converted back to real money, since gold can be converted back to cash by rmah / any other means; regardless of the $ earned (since keeping Digital Goods will not really bring them any advantage).

There's people like me as well, holding the gems and not selling due to the low market value, hoping that it'll raise back up so that I could sell it for a profit, even though I have already quit.

P/S It's below 9m now, actual price. Surprisingly the ruby radiant star's price shoot up to 17m+.

It depends on the type of gems.
Ruby is bullish now.

wish I have more gold to upgrade my equipment sockets... only can buy 1 now leh... how? visa ah...

seeing how things is now..i wonder is there sumthing that we dont know perhaps thats going too happen with gems in 1.05, maybe some players got a leak info and decide to sell everything before 1.05 hits out, this could be a possibility..

also what is the total cost gold (only gold) if a player use their own Flawless Square Gem & ToS -> upgrade to Radiant Star ? maybe becoz of paragon leveling, eveyone looted a bundle of Flaw Square Gems & ToS, and frequent loot drop of Gem Recipe...
