Now its okay. Torrent is no more throttled it seems. Can get more than 100kbps. Kuching area.

I tried the bolehvpn, but there is only a slight increase in speed for about 5%...

weird...previously i have torrent capped issue...but these few days...it was blazingly fast...

i have a download going on average between 380kB/s to 450kB/s on a 4MB line...

so i'm not sure how the line is controlled by Streamyx...maybe need to start monitoring now and see if the torrent cap happens on weekdays or weekends or maybe happens half of each month? hehe...i have no idea... for now...

the thing is...i noticed as well previously when i complianed my line was throttled...i have seen other 4Mbps users say their line was OK...

maybe Streamyx throttled by area?

my office line was throttled last week but was ok by today... but my home still throttled...

TMnut gave me Zyxel P600 router it keeps disconnetecing my line its more than a yr old...they suggested i change the router...do you guys have any idea whats the best router that will give me best and compatible performance with 4mpbs line? Budget rm 100

Lately speed from various website quite inconsistent..

Youtube very slow on any video quality.. sometimes need to refresh few times to get a good speed on Youtube.. no problem with dailiymotion, vimeo..

And one thing I realize is that lately Gateway IP will change according to my WAN IP.. and also sometimes I get weird IP range...

If I got IP range 203.xxx.yyy.zzz, Gateway will become 203.xxx.yyy.254
If IP range 115.xxx.yyy.zzz, Gateway will become 115.xxx.yyy.254
If IP range 60.xxx.yyy.zzz, Gateway will become 60.xxx.yyy.254
etc etc

Usually it should be fixed to one IP, but I forgot what is the IP..

I wonder all of this just because of that broken underwater cable. Almost end of April, but still not done fixing yet?

my line is still slow like snail... when TM ppl came, they only said it's throttling... so their advices were either wait for it to come back as last time, or keep on off the modem until you hit a certain IP and get fast transfer rate DL. Kinda weird...

Throttling is backup again. Suddenly my wifi got that "no connection" icon last night. When I restart the router, my torrent is slow again. Oh TM is trolling me now.

When report throttling please state ip range if dont mind

115 , 175 , 210 ip header was dead for me
I only have some speed around morning after 2-3am something to around 9-10am something

My location 24/7 on 115. BTW 115 got many range

Last time when using 382 and 4Mbit can get 210 which is Unifail IP, now no more
