Details of the complaint : Buy dell vostro 3560 Full HD 1920 x 1080 from leoyew on RM1900 + RM50 courier. But end up received dell vostro 3560 HD 1336 x 768. And leoyew refuse to full refund or discount. and ask me to report to lowyat. He said there is no different between full hd and hd.

Its not about whether u can get it full hd below 2k or not

its about seller reliability. Yes, from the ad also can make buyer confuse whether its 3560 or 3460. But since buyer already ask seller and confirm that its Full HD, plus the spec in invoice also written Full HD, yes i agree that seller should take the responsibility here.

rm2k is not easy to earn yo.

for me Full HD vs HD is a freaking huge different bcoz of the space (where i can spam shortcut).
its better for you to make a police report asap if he does not admit his mistake n drag this. from end-user POV, no point dragging if seller has too much excuses wink.gif

No, the seller refuse to refund. But I got buyer interest this laptop and brought from me. I just want to let this guy know, this is not the correct way to do business. All I want is apologies from the seller. that it.

Photo 1 show this laptop is 100% Full HD.
Photo 2 show seller boss refuse to refund due unreasonable request.
Photo 3 show Full HD & HD it is the same.
Photo 4 show Boss outsatation to china 1 month, if really want to refund, only can claim 70% of the selling price.
Please judge who is the cheater now.

Are you confirm that buyer if your find 1? Bro please don't lie here the buyer is my customer & he go to kuantan buy back from you RM1950, what you want to complain? i already solve your case! You want create some story and said me con you? If i con you i won't post the laptop to Kuantan & i already tell u HD is HD, you create some story & said me confirm with your is Full HD?

Please check my post la i got stat out Graphic Card Model, if you don't know how to check specification you tell me ma, i will teach you, somemore i already settle you case & you get back your full refund what you still want?

Bro there are obviously very huge difference between full HD and HD . You promise to sell him FULL HD specs laptop but now he only got HD , its OBVIOUSLY your fault . Say i promise to sell u a 16gb pendrive but when u get back home only you found out it is 4gb pendrive , then when you confront me only i tell you you can sell it back to me at 70% of the original price ? This is scam . Just bring it to the mahkamah TS

First you tell me is Full HD. Refer back to photo 1 and your receipt, do you indicate resolution 1920 x 1080? U donno the specs or I donno the specs? Full HD is 1920 x 1080 resolution. Please google it.

Second, you refuse to refund to me. Photo 2. you said that HD and Full HD no different, and will not entertain for unreasonable request.

Third, U lie again, I request for discount RM300, but now you said is RM500. Please refer to my photo again.

Final. I already sell the laptop to other ppl. Now I just want to admit you do have this to me and apologize to me. and I never ask u to do any refund. I'm not the greedy person.

Well i think he has every right to 'disturb' you since your method of solving your own mistake to your customer is giving 70% refund , if doing business is really so easy then i want to do it too , selling people lower specs item in place of higher specs item as advertised then only tell them i have mentioned this is a lower specs can only can refund 70% and 30% as extra profit while CLEARLY , in the TEXT messages above you assured him it is FULL HD . As for ' disturbing' your thread , see where is your point of view i guess , to me he is merely giving warning to your potential customer that they could be ended up like how he is now . And bro , if you have any prove just let us see it , TS already showed his but up until now u only know talk . you can say whatever you want bro .

why you just choose selected conversation? Everybody just wacth this conversation, see this vegetable is what kind of buyer, i don't want to comment too much because this is wasting my a lot of time, for those who next time dealing with him must take care!

1. I tell him got a buyer want buy this set, he try to con me want me bank in to him first!

2. I tell him my colleague will meet him at saturday & i tell him buyer need to get this laptop at sunday, he find a lot excuse said at outstation, i ask him just call any of his family help to cod but he refuse with bad attitude!

3. From the conversation he always use i will report police try to make me afraid such terrible act I really 1st time face!

4.at the last he want me to refund another RM500 to him, what the xxxx! why i need to refund RM500 to him?

Finally my buyer going to kuantan meet him at monday & deal with him, his case already solve but still wanna open thread disturb me, terrible buyer!

just notice it....

You know what..in my opinion....phone nowadays are smart...
they have auto capital letter when it is the first letter of SMS, or after full stop. see the other SMSes, both by seller and buyer, auto capital of the first letter

hm... very the interdesting case.

my phone also always capitalize first letter of the word.

ok, seems like both side have their own proofs. make a police report then, make it official since i dont think any of either side will admit their faults.
make it a police case. settle there. both will lose money and valuable time. but let justice be served at least.

But now adays smart phone will auto capital the word in sms though.
based on the messages given, all sentences started off with capital letter except that fullhd/hd sentence there.

Somehow,i also noticed the RM500 deposit part where it started off with a small capital letter.

Sorry leoyew, but we found that:

1) The topic of you selling the Dell Vostro is very misleading and confusing...
Topic mentioned Vostro 3560, with detail spec listed, but;
photos attached got both 3460 and 3560...


2) Your screenshots look suspicious (the one without "Yes, it's Full HD" and the one showing buyer wants RM500 from you)
On both the screenshots, first letter was not CAPITAL LETTER;

the time of you captured the screenshot seems weird, you need about 30 mins to capture screenshot from your phone? (7:02, 7:11, 7:32 and the other 2 screenshots showing "saving screenshot"?)- peggyangel


3) "HD & Full HD no much difference, u still can gaming"- your reply
Seller promised to sell you Volkswagen with 40k...So, u paid 40k, but in the end...the seller only give you Myvi...

Unfortunately, I believe it's not possible.

Seller is using Cyanogenmod (CM) - custom rom for Android, so we know he is pretty tech savvy. You can know by looking at the 'saving screenshot...' when you take screenshot with CM, you will get the aforementioned wording of saving screenshot everytime, but it does not appear instantly, thus 'saving screenshot...' only appear on the 2nd and subsequent screenshots *if you take the screenshot consecutively*

I think you nailed it with discrepancy in the time between screenshots.

Thread opened on 3rd October, It took the seller 20 days to finally bothered enough to come here, despite countless harrasing. If he is clean in the first place, why wait 3 weeks to produce evidence? It's clear he was avoiding the problem until buyer starts making a bigger hooha.

from the seller`s reply to the buyer we can clearly see that he mentioned " there is no big difference between full HD & HD " . It means that he INDIRECTLY admitted that he promised the buyer that the specs of the laptop he is getting is a FULL HD . Dont you think so guys ?

you already got his invoice. you can file police report and consumer report on him. Black and White stated in the invoice but physical item received not according to the invoice.

Somehow you got another buyer for the item so to do report anot depend on you.

if the laptop support resolution 1920x1080, there will be an option to go higher.
the lcd itself doesnt support full hd. if you plug it to the full hd monitor, of course display will go to full hd.

it means seller credibility is high, but it does not rule out thing like this will not happen.

Here's where you'd gone wrong, LeoYew.

Mistake 1

While "Yes" and "No" are simple words to spell, it shouldn't be treated with simple attention, especially when it's used for clarification.

He asked if the display is of Full HD; thus, the answer is either "Yes, it is" or "No, it's not". Note that while his question was specific enough that there's no room for possible misinterpretation, however way you look at it, so was your answer, and I quote, "Yes, it's Full HD..."

When you said that it's Full HD, and the specs shows that it's Full HD, with the invoice states that it's Full HD, shouldn't it be Full HD?

Pick your answer:
Yes, it should be Full HD.
No, it shouldn't be Full HD.

Mistake 2

When you were confronted that the merchandise sold is not of Full HD display, it was responded with, and I quote, "... somemore HD and Full HD no much difference...".

If, indeed, there's not much difference going between HD and Full HD, why the different terms created for identification? Why the differences in terms of price for a HD and Full HD set? Why the need for YouTube uploaders to state if the video if of HD or Full HD?

Clearly the difference is glaring enough to command such attention to detail and love for visual clarity, wouldn't you say so?

Even if there's not much difference between HD and Full HD, as you said it to be, who are you to decide for your customer the standard of what they can live by? Shouldn't customers receive exactly what they were promised and paid for?

Pick your answer:
Yes, they should receive what they were promised or paid for.
No, they shouldn't receive what they were promised or paid for.

Mistake 3

While most forumers here have pointed out the suspicious lowercase alphabet SMS print-screen, that you provided, which contradicts not just the way how your customer typed but also the simple fundamental of how the 1st alphabet, either in the beginning or after a full-stop, are always in uppercase, unless tempered with, I have something else to show you of what you might just have overlooked, in your eagerness to clear your name, which only resulted in you being all the more suspicious.

Pay attention to both of your SMS-es and you'll realize that the alphabet of nouns after coma, in each SMS-es, is in lowercase except for proper nouns, of course, but somehow, the alphabet "i" in the suspicious RM500-refund-demand SMS, is in uppercase, which should have been in lowercase, if you'd let nature that's it's course but obviously, something was done to it.

Were you so conscious of your concocted plan that your moral conscience, somehow, reversed the natural order of simple SMS typing in mobile phone?

I don't need to tell you that if you remove those print-screen of yours i.e. post # 28, it'll only make things look worst than it already is, for you.

My advice: 1 apology in exchange for forgiveness over 4 mistakes is a good deal, if you ask me.

P/S: To some, receiving refund is enough but to others, an apology carries more value than the act of refund itself.

Sony Lim, U are very smart. But do you know how to differentiate which is origin sms and fake sms? Before you use "fake sms application", u must know how to differentiate them.
Please look at my video again.
click and hold the sms, untillmessage option pop up, choose "view message details".
If it is outgoing sms, it will show TYPE, TO, and SENT.
If it is incoming sms, it will show TYPE, FROM, RECEIVED and SENT.

If you are use Fake Sms Apllication, there will not have SENT on incoming sms.

The screen is supporting FULL HD. please remember the SCREEN is supporting FULL HD.

When buyer (vegetable) went to check the screen resolution, it stated 1366*768 (maximum).
This mean you have maximum resolution of HD quality(1366*768) only. All agree right?
But this does mean you already hit the TRUE output(max quality) of the screen.
You actually need to check if the driver is updated or not.

very easy to justify my words. you go to uninstall your graphic driver now (please restart computer to take effect), see your resolution how, i can tell you it is like shit. ( to take note, some computer will auto search back the drivers, you need to delete completely all the files, then you know what is the effect of NO DRIVER. I always format computer, i know drivers are important.).
no proper DRIVER, you SCREEN CANNOT perform to maximum.

one more, did you check if the laptop is come with "AMD Radeon HD 7670M 1GB DDR3" graphic card inside?

Just for everyone's information.
To doctor the SMS is pretty simple actually.
Since the seller is using CM (CyanogenMod, a custom ROM for Android, yes, rooted.) he can backup all his SMS-es using backup apps like Titanium Backup to one OR several XML files.

And then, what you do is after backing up, delete all the messages in the inbox. Open the backed up XML file, edit it, (remove/add words) and restore using the said backup app.

No photoshop needed, 2 minutes work.

checked with dell US, dell Vostro 3560 got 2 options: 720p and 1080p

the i7 specs only got fullHD so TS i5 spec will only do 720p at most

how powerful the updates wouldnt get any 720p to fullHD 1080p. your point is therefore invalid

TS still have original copy so we can even see the seller is editing all the evidence to make like he talking the truth..

Complain to KPDKK at the company's shop better...

Ain't it obvious already? After selling the seller said there's no difference between HD and Full HD then the buyer ask the seller the reason for the 768p screen, that alone tells us that the seller did mention/promise/said that the laptop he sell is indeed full HD (1080p)

And the reciept CLEARLY stated, BIG BIG CLEAR CLEAR 1920x1080 (1080p, FULL HD)

The sentence above leads to a little story of mine :
I've bought a pair of in-ear headphones from LYN before. I wanted model A, the seller send me model B instead.
I complaint, he kept saying sorry and he say he will compensate the postage fee for me to send the model B back to him again, in the mean time, he allowed me to OPEN model B and test it and give review, ain't that nice?
Of course I refused as that is not the model I wanted, 2 days later I recieved model A and RM7 attached. laugh.gif
