Bought my phantom 3 from DJI website. Shipped from DJI China and somehow the shipment got stuck at DHL. I wonder if anyone else faced the same issue..need to apply for AP from SIRIM before DHL can release the package..

AP from SIRIM is required for 2016. I bought it last year and no SIRIM AP needed.DJI Phantom 3 Discussion Thread (Videography) |

Oh no...anything 'digital' wifi always short range. You must use analogue type 5.8ghz (the same technology use by CCTV cam) cos they can travel longer than Wifi. I only use stock minimal 200mw for my 5.8ghz still go very far. Booster will make it worse since it will 'knock' several type of frequency nearby. |

Btw i saw collection of cheap analogue 5.8ghz FPV models right here, looks like a great bargain here: http://goo.gl/w8kNpF That SYMA looks promising. I manage to fly around some obstacle and building just as seen on my Youtube channel a lot. I even fly behind some big metal shipping container with clear signal.Btw sharing my Fixed wing drone FPV (Drifter Ultralight) weekend flight with flying clubs, this time the clouds run away from me: Videos: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
