*ouch*

i bought a few apps today... more than yesterday.

bought...
* world of goo (just buy for the sake of buying -- this game got really positive reviews)
* going to bed book -- the sandra boyton books are good. bought some in the previous sale before. this is a new one not featured in the last sale
* dungeon village -- my first kairosoft game. hope its nice. but what the heck... usd0.25 only la...
* cut the rope -- already got the 1st one from past sales. so might as well get it. though i think the devs actually loaded the 1st part with more in game ads and also notification spam
* sketchbook... hmmm... professional drawing pad + g.note1 (or note2)

anyway, guys... if i'm not mistaken, the developers still get paid their original asking price. google tops up the difference. so, i feel its also good to just buy and reward the devs... it will keep them motivated and go on the dev new games/ apps.

I find world of goo quite fun and challenging. But I didnt buy it. I played it on pc quite some years ago. Thought they are cute XD

Today's apps aren't really interesting, besides the Paper Cam and Sketchbook. Tried to purchase Cut the Rope but saw lots of recent bad reviews about it.

take user reviews with a grain of salt...

anyway, i've bought previous Sandra Boynton books before and i love it.. errr... i mean my kids love it. ok, ok, i also actually secretly like it.

installed on sgs2 and also Note. no problem what-so-ever. i think i also installed on Asus tablet (TF101) as well...

like i've shared earlier... use this opportunity to let devs earn some money la... else eventually, they either stop dev for android, etc... we only need to fork out less than rm1. google covers the rest of the cost. so, ok wat... biggrin.gif

Of course I'm not expecting everything from an app that costs a quarter, but it kinda defeats the purpose if you end up spending more just to clear the levels.

And you can see that the recent reviews have been 2-starred or less. Unless the occurrences are 2/ 10, then its something to take note about.

Get the Cut the Rope - a very good game.  I think most likely Where is My Water will be on offer too later.
you sure Korea version can be used here?  I went there in 2005 for honeymoon, my mobile phone is just a paper weight there, their telecom system is not GSM.  Not sure about how is it now though.

Bought today:
1. going to bed book
2. FIFA 12
3. Cut the rope experiment

Bought World of Goo, Paper Camera, Sketch Mobile and Color & Draw for Kid Phone ed previously for 10cents each.  Dun know what is the difference between the Color & Draw for Kid Phone ed and normal ed.  hmm.gif

I recommend get the one from EA Inc. not EA Netherland BV.  Bought my NFS:Shift from EA Netherland BV and the game has not been updated for latest devices.  mad.gif  Can only play on my previous Desire HD, wasted the chance to play it on my Note and Tab 7.7.  I am not sure whether EA Inc. will be better but i definitely have black-listed EA Netherland BV.

its workable, even pantech sky vega is workable with local sim. one of my korean colleague using smile.gif

by purchasing apps that require/encourage in app purchasing, you're encouraging that business model.

so more and more developers/publishers will see this as a good thing and pull the same stunt. later on, all you'll be buying-regardless of the price- is a client shell with little to no content.

that's a future i do not want happening.
