didnt buy these because:
Clouds & Sheep Premium ->in app purchasing still active
Let's Create! Pottery ->i think i already have it.lol (free from amazon appstore)
Symphony of Eternity ->cant seem to find it; probably region locked
Granny Smith -> in app purchasing active
Asphalt 7: Heat ->in app purchasing active
Draw something -> craze over, i think+my drawing sucks
NFL Kicker 13->in app purchasing
OfficeSuitePro 6+->got it already
London bus checker->reviews say it crashes alot.

i dont see why we have to be subjected to in app purchasing since we've already bought the damn app. even if it's just minor things, i still find it to be a FREE app "feature"

what do  you means in app purchasing active
nod.gif

for some reason or another, you'd have to pay within the app to advance.
i read some reviews before buying the games, and they all say once you reach a certain point in the game, it'll be hard to progress unless you buy boosters of some kind.

swiftkey is on sale!

whoever doesnt already have it, get it.
just get it.

brief on the app:
SwiftKey made waves for being one of the first Android keyboards to really embrace predictive text. Not only is SwiftKey able to correct your typing and guess that you meant to say even if you wind up typing gibberish, SwiftKey can scan your emails, Facebook posts, Twitter posts, SMS messages, and more—all to learn how you naturally type and who you speak to. All of that knowledge goes into its incredible predictive text engine that knows how you type better than you do. Available for phones and tablets with custom keyboards for each, SwiftKey is regularly updated with great features, incredibly powerful, and well worth the money.

take user reviews with a grain of salt...

like i've shared earlier... use this opportunity to let devs earn some money la... else eventually, they either stop dev for android, etc... we only need to fork out less than rm1. google covers the rest of the cost. so, ok wat... biggrin.gif
*
by purchasing apps that require/encourage in app purchasing, you're encouraging that business model.

so more and more developers/publishers will see this as a good thing and pull the same stunt. later on, all you'll be buying-regardless of the price- is a client shell with little to no content.

that's a future i do not want happening.

apps are locked to your google account, not phone.

err... "take with a grain of salt" dun mean dun take heed...
*
To take a statement with 'a grain of salt' or 'a pinch of salt' means to accept it but to maintain a degree of skepticism about its truth
Don't take heed - don't listen or pay attention

More or less the same thing-their opinion doesn't carry much(if any) weight

QUOTE(silentser @ Sep 28 2012, 11:23 PM)
well, you also need to read why the app was given a bad rate, its not because of the gameplay, its because they add in app purchase, so the gameplay still good, dont think the new in app purchase going to make the existing level tougher, maybe in next level update.
*
I'm somewhat old school-I like to purchase something, and be given something complete. If developers still enforce in app purchasing to complete a level, the base app should be free.

Having people buy an app only to be stuck due to severely limited abilities is just wrong.

and why does there's 2 of them in the store?
*
EA has been doing that since their first available sale earlier(in this sale) @.@
just grab the EA Inc version, not the EA Netherlands version.
someone here mentioned before that the Netherlands version lacks updates compared to the inc version doh.gif

most of the games on offer today seem to be touch screen friendly..but just remember Order & Chaos Online is a MMORPG, and actually requires a subscription rclxub.gif

QUOTE(enaleni @ Sep 30 2012, 03:13 AM)
anyone know why there is two same apps on sale??? any different on that same apps????
*
ALL EA games thus far have 2 of the same apps on sale.
others have noted that the games by EA Netherlands dont receive updates as often as EA Inc, so just stick with EA Inc.

screw it; bought Broken Sword happy.gif

This is my first time using Maybank because I saw you guys receive calls... before this I use HSBC. I only receive sms telling me I bought what and ask me to call back if there is problem... sigh
*
the sms is normal, the phone calls are somewhat out of the ordinary.
like what spikey2506 said, they probably look at the spending pattern.
from petrols and groceries to a sudden turn to non stop google...something must be off for that to happen.

i usually use my cards for petrol and steam games.
so far this google transactions are the first time anyone ever called me up from Maybank asking to verify the payment.

LOL I think they learnt from past experience. During the last two Android Market app sales, people just started to fail to continue the transaction. Had to wait till midnight for 'server refresh'. A few of us even kena block for few days, had to go to maybank branch to settle.

Was pleasantly surprised nothing happened this time. haha.
*
sweat.gif lucky that didnt happen to me during the 10cent sales last year sweat.gif

QUOTE(UserU @ Oct 1 2012, 12:13 AM)
It happens on any other EFT. For instance, I once had to re-verify myself on Paypal after spending for a few days straight. Account suspended and must enter verification code to continue.

vmad.gif this i had to go through just a couple of weeks ago. vmad.gif so frustrating!
