I once saw a cat got hit by a vehicle. It was still alive and kinda crawling in its grotesque state, with blood all over. I being the kind hearted soul, ended it's life by rolling over it, since i was driving behind the said vehicle; squishing the life out of it. I was damn proud that i was able to help ease the pain of the cat by ending it's miserable life .
The only drawback was that the ungrateful cat decided to leave a patch of hair on my tires which were a pain to wash off.

U have a lot of guts, I must say....

I wish I could end these animals pain....but most certainly...I'll do nothing....maybe too terrified...

Well, I wouldn't agree with you. Animals are innocent but not human. I would rather avoid an animal and knock the motorcyclist instead. There are a few reason why I do so...

1.) I can repay back if it is not a serious accident.
2.) If that accident involve life, I still can repay my sin in the jail.
3.) Human is the worst...

What if the fact is turn the other way round...
I ran through the animal, I don't care and I got through with it. I sin a lot that cannot repay. I would turn up to be the worst idiot!
*
He said that the animal already got knocked down and is gona die anyway so it won't make much diff if u hit it again or not, wud probably be better if u kill it off on the spot so it won't have to suffer more.

The motorist that u may knock down cud be innocent as well, and is probably alot less likely to die anytime sooner than that animal. Ever thought of wat wud happen if the motorist had a family to feed? what if there were kids onboard? are u saying that a human life or more are worth less than a half-dead dog/cat on the road? what if u get jailed, ur fam wud be worried sick and u will suffer alot, do u really have the guts to do it or are u just all talk?

not saying that u are wrong cz im noe u dont wana hear that, jz wondering if u ever thought about stuff like that.

my thoughts:

-u must be a sadist if u'd let a suffering animal that's gona die anyway suffer longer
-u must be even more sadistic to risk someone elses life or a few ppls' lives just so u can let a suffering animal that's gona die anyway suffer longer

also, even if the animal was not knocked down in the 1st place, u must be pretty sick to hit a motorist(esp a motorcyclist) just to avoid it.

Got another qs for u, what if u have no way of avoiding an animal on the road unless u swerve to the other lane and go head on with a trailer?

You can just refer to my previous post. Either you just mere replying without having second thought or you just simply won't accept other ppl idea. Whatever you think I'm in, it is your personal thought which I'm completely different from what you said.

To answer your question, avoid and ram to a trailer... I would just die. No need to further explain. No one to blame, blame only myself of being careless. Always the self incur the most damage compare to other. I choose to knock the motorcyclist rather than animal because the one is going to suffer the most is me, myself, on no matter what happen later rather than just avoid responsibility by knocking the animal and say "it is just an accident".

P/S: I'm quoting someone message. And he said someone swerve left and right just to avoid the animal and almost knock down a motorcyclist. It is not regarding a half dead animal that has been ram for the 1st time and then you continue the second ram.

It happenned to me finally altho i always hope i wont meet this kind of situation..

sad.gif

very sad indeed...
I stop the car on the street then the car in front moved and run over a cat...

then the cat jumped many times in pain and the blood gushing out....

I was shocked..then i came down...

almost wanna cry... sad.gif

the cat almost half dead...I got 2 option...as i dont have euthanasia which i always wanted to get one for emergency......

Either i run over the cat till it is dead or i just pull it to the road side...

Very sad..what will u do if u were me?

I understand your feeling...
I met this kind of incident once. I was driving and the road was clear. I didn't see anything in front but all of sudden, I heard some sound coming out from my back tire. I thought I just ran through a stone or a hole. Unfortunately, I was wrong... I looked at by back mirror and saw an animal struggling. I stoped my car immediately to have a look on what is going on. I actually ran through a kitten which just ran underneath my car.  cry.gif I came to realize why the kitten ran underneath my car later when I saw the mother, the kitten was playing with the mother and accident ran out. The mother looked at the struggling kitten. I felt so sorry to the mother. I was there until the last moment of the kitten. I also realize that it wouldn't make it to the vet. It just past away in a few minutes.  cry.gif

I once saw a women driving a car then hit a cat, the cat was hit at his hind leg...I dont know exactly how....it happen near my home...
I was in my car too....I just watch the women open the door to look what have she knocked and closed the door back ready to go....
I just gazed and looked directly to her....she then went out of her car....drag the poor cat to the side...then drove off....

I parked my car in my house, then go back to find the cat..but cannot find him...I wonder how he move, is he dead, bleeding or what???
I just wonder...Next day, my friend call, told me saw the cat, back leg totally cannot work...he drag himself with his 2 front leg...my friend took him, try giving food but he dont want, he put gamat oil around his leg cause already got some white 'ulat' around there....

Pity la....when I came home...he's not there anymore...then never saw him again....

i went over a dead cat once at 100kmh.
it was not on purpose as I couldnt avoid it. going over a dead cat at that speed feels asthough you're driving over a pothole filled with water...i could hear the splash sound.
i had to take my car to the car wash later to clean the blood stains.

I remember many many years ago back when I was in secondary school i was at a friend's house at night. There was this stray dog with 3-4 puppies around her. I was thinking to myself "HOW CUTE! If only I can bring one home!"

Shortly after that thought left my mind one of the pups ran out from the group and was in the middle of the road. A car just drove by, the pup looked up and I can see his face lit up by the head lamp of the car, and fear came to his eyes... before I can even move or say or do anything the pup already lay there motionless...

It was one of the saddest day of my life. More than 10 yrs later today I can still remember the look on the pups face... "WHATS DAT? Oh NOOOOO!"

The innocence of the pup and its fatal accident almost made me cry  cry.gif

lol, alot easier said than done. BUT HEY ITS THE INTERNET! anyone claim that they wud do anything if they wana^_^. Anyway i merely asked you some questions for clarification and i didnt get any answers*not surprised tho* other than the heroic trailer sacrifice. Perhaps you have not lost someone precious enough to understand the value of a human life. Hopefully a trailer comes b4 a helpless motorcyclist then thumbup.gif

oh and 1 more question, last 1 i promise hehe
Are u a vegetarian? c'mon, answer honestly biggrin.gif

sigh... your statement is as pathetic and sarcastic as usual. There is no point to express myself further, since you refuse to understand. Well, I agree with you that "say is a lot easier than do it" but hey, don't judge a book by it's cover. If you don't know me, don't judge me!

For the question, save it for yourself, since it is worthless to answer yawn.gif

hey hey, so ur not vegetarian hehehe.
think about it, if u really feel that bad about harming animals, u should stop living in the city cz watever u do to survive here will encourage pollution and erode animal habitats. I suppose u drive, use paper, electricity, eat lots of animals and kill bloodsucking bugs. Might as well just stop living or go live in the forest and survive solely on plants to avoid harming INNOCENT ANIMALS because U CAN'T STAND THE GUILT, but then again, that's alot easier said than done.

I dont know u and i don't wana 'judge a book by its cover', that's why im asking u, to see if ur a big hypocrite that only knows how to talk alot but can't really take action mer.. cz i know there is a possibility that u may not be 1..=)

sorry for bursting ur bubble and pissing u off, shudv just ended at "so ur not vegetarian eh?"^_^
*yeah ok im too free and it's just too tempting*

Stray dogs may bite if you touch them when they are in pain/injured. Sometimes have to consider, if you see someone run over a stray animal and you take it to vet, who will care for the animal after that? You cant just release it on the road again, it might need medical care for a while. Hard choice to make, good thing I have not come accross this situation before, but if I'm the one that did it, I'll try my best to save the animal
*
Yes, injured animals tend to attack or bite you back if you go close to them. Try to get their trust first (though thats the hardest thing to do), check for its injury and see whats the best way to help it. By rushing what to do, you will add more pain to them as you dont know what damage they have.

You're rite about internal injuries...my own siamese cat was hit by a car last year..i know it was not the driver's fault as my cat who ran across the street suddenly...

His body was ok...his mouth no blood at all...but he died a couple of minutes after being hit...

The most sad part is when I buried him...I dont have the heart to put him in his grave..cause he looks like sleeping...because no injury at all....But when I lift him and lay him in his grave..I could feel something in his stomach...I dont know how to explain but I knew then, that he hurt badly in the inside... sad.gif

And the most thing i scare is not enuff time for me to avoid the corpse... sometimes avoid but still will ran over a bit i think... sad.gif

My gf and I had a Jack Russel dog. If you don't know how it looks like, it's the dog that starred in the TV sitcom Frasier. It was a damn smart dog.

It was only a few weeks old. We came back from Tesco and the poor dog was in its cage the whole day. So we decided to let it run free with the supervision of my gf whilst she went to throw the garbage. I was in the kitchen unpacking the stuff we bought. Seconds before the carnage happened, i had chill-spine and quickly went out and true enough, both my gf and I saw a White Honda Civic rammed through our beloved dog. My gf was so distraught and she went panicky.

I had to wrap the poor dog and bury it later at night. The whole head was crushed and i almost vomitted while cleaning it before wrapping it nicely for burial. I still have visions of that accident and it was really gruesome.
